Radica Handheld FreeCell Solitaire Game - 8019

Glad this product is still available! I've had my FreeCell for well over 10 years.... I ordered a new one, just in case the current one 'ever' shoots craps. Batteries seldom need replaced and the current device is played daily. I'm assuming the same high quality.

Received this item that did no work as the batteries had decayed in the device and even after replacing the batteries with new batteries, it would not work. Very poor quality control!

FreeCell is one of my favorite games but hard to find in the hand held version. I wanted it so I had something to do on a long airplane ride, so it will do great. Also, it has a silence button so I won't disturb anyone else.

It is not a bad game. Scrolling is somewhat awkward. While it definitely doesn't measure up to the computer, it serves its purpose: to keep you both interested & occupied. Maybe I play too long as the batteries die from use within days. Think they could have manufactured it with a different, more long-lasting type of battery. P.S. Don't know why they can't make a spade look like a spade! Am glad I have it, though, despite its minor difficulties.

Broke after 1 year of heavy use.

I knew this was a really older model but the cost of the newer ones were outrageous. The batteries were dead but otherwise it is an acceptable handheld game and it was not expensive. It works fine with new batteries.

This replacement was for a 20 year old game.

The out side of the game looks great. It is the inside of the game that is poor. Battery area held old batteries in it and they leaked. The corrosion was so bad. The game still does not work. : (. I took pictures upon opening the game for the first time. I do not know how well they came out as I have had to change cell phones since.

I bought this to replace my earlier game (same as this ) that had died after several years of heavy use. Unfortunately when I pressed the test roller/button it did not work. Urban Inspirations processed my refund courteously and promptly. Five Stars for service, no stars for item! I have confidence in the company and today I ordered three telephone batteries from them (via Amazon.ca). I decided upon reflection that this item is far too expensive, so I bought an Acer tablet (via Amazon.ca) which of course gives me much more variety of use and I can play Free Cell on it with a free app: a much better buy.

Possibly it was not new but a return product resold as it had to be old for the batteries to corrode as they were upon arrival
