Hello, World! Solar System

We love this book! Pictures are great, my son has learned all of the plays for passively reading this at bedtime. Would highly recommend!

My son love it, colorful pages and has an easy description of the planets for little ones to remember

I purchased this book for my 20 month old daughter to introduce her to simple concepts about science. She absolutely loved the book as soon as I opened it. It’s colorful, has great illustrations as well as short and interesting facts about each planet. Not a deal Breaker for me but it does list Pluto in the book. It is however, correctly labeled as a dwarf planet, which it was demoted to in August 2006 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). If you are concerned with any confusion regarding Pluto it may not be the book for you. Personally I loved it and plan on purchasing a few more of the author’s books!

Love these little books, they are made well and have bright colors. Great for gifts!

This is a wonderful book! My son was 17 months old when we got this book and he insisted on reading it every night for about a month and then from time to time since then. It has a page for every planet in the solar system and something quite cool is that although the illustrations are colorful drawings, many of the planets look surprisingly close to the real photographs of the planets. There are a few interesting facts about each planet - just enough for little ones to find interesting. My son is walks around now saying 'Jupiter!' 'Largest!' 'Great Red Spot!'. Very happy with this book!

I got this book for my 20 month old son. The illustrations are beautiful - very colorful and interesting - by far, my favorite part of the book. The text is simple for young children and informative, without being too complex with information. The book goes through all the planets, describing a special feature or two of each one. There is some repetition, but very little. Although my little one is more interested in rhyming, sing-song type material, I believe this book will be a go-to as he gets older.

Excellent simple and accurate! I started noticing my 2 year old granddaughter's curiosity about the moon, probably spawned by the classic book "Good Night Moon" when she was one. Then she wanted to know more about the sun. This evolved into trying to find the right book that was simple enough but also offered an accurate representation of the sun and solar system. This book fit the bill. It lists all the planets, shows their relative sizes and order in distance from the sun. She now knows the planets and I found a great song to reinforce what she learned in the book on the Hopscotch kids' YouTube channel. She likes to look at the book and listen to the song together. Next, will be finding a tactile version of the solar system to broaden her experience even further. Amazon has a puzzle solar system globe I'm thinking about trying. I'll let you know....

My 20-month-old has been interested in planets and destroyed his older brother’s book on the topic, so I was looking for something more durable. This board book is perfect- so cute, fun and colorful illustrations, and just enough information on the planets and our solar system to be educational but still a fairly quick read. My son loves this and asks to read it many times a day, he names all of the planets now.

This book is colorful but doesn't have any good information about solar system. It may be useful for a new born kids. But not useful for school going kids.

No lo recomiendo para mayores de 4-5 años pues es bastante simple. Para más pequeños es bonito por el colorido. Hay que leerselo, pues ellos no aprenden a leer con este tipo de letra por eso no lo recomiendo para más mayores. Está algo obsoleto ya que aparece el planeta Plutón.

Pedí varios libros de la misma editorial , son bonitos y coloridos, de pasta dura... pedí este de pets para intercambio en la escuela y el del solar system para mi hijo
