Absolutely amazing car mount charger that holds the phone with the magnetic case really good. Testet on multiple road surfaces and at various speeds as it doesn't move an inch thanks to extra support against the dashboard. Highly recommended. Will get the one with the cooling fan as well.

I have to say that at first I was a little cautious about this product fitting into my car as the vents are in a “funny” position. That is they face away from the driver. I needn’t of worried though as the HaloLock is fully adjustable. The “plate” is fixed into a ball that is fully adjustable and can be placed in a good range of positions (see pics). After using for a few days I have to say that this is a very impressive product. I took it out on a good 2 hour drive and there is no way that the phone can drop off the HaloLock. The magnets are very strong. The unit fits into the car vents with clips and also a “plate” that gives it extra grip. The magnets provide a firm grip and as I say, there’s no change of the phone falling off. The unit has a small adjustable arm that allows you to position the phone the way you want it. Another thing that I like is that you can place the phone in landscape mode with is perfect for using Maps on your phone. Charger works fine as well. As soon as you connect the phone the charger comes on. I should also point out here that you can still use the HaloLock without the charge function, you just don’t plug it in. The unit is also easily removed from the car. Also, it doesn’t leave any marks like some holders that are installed into cars. The HaloLock fits into the car vents. My car, for info is a small Ford Fiesta. As I said at the start I did not expect the HaloLock to fit due to the angle of the vents but it works perfectly. By the way, I used with the phone in a MagSafe case so there was some extra weight and the unit coped without any problems. A superb product.

The charger itself does very good job. The magnetic hold very strong even with big phone like 17 pro max with heavy duty torras case. But I have also the model without fan cooling who doesn’t include dashboard mount with sticky pads. Then I bought this one just because now they have that mount but the mount was incredibly poor designed. On the picture can be seen the previous my charger with absolutely heavy duty mount and this type of the mount you must create. First the stickiness is very poor and easy to fall off. I had to use two screws to fix that . But after three months of use I’ve noticed the mount is cracked and soon everything will fall off. It’s absolutely disappointing to throw the perfectly working charger because of that useless mount. Three starts inly for the charger and zero stars for the mount. Edit, the seller contacted me with offer for refund and I accepted. Because the charger itself works very well and I don’t want to throw it away today I made a dashboard mount that will wast forever. Made from stainless steel and painted black this mount can be used until the charger dies but I can buy the same charger with that improved mount. Once again if you will use the other types of mount from the set you couldn’t have a problem. I will add one more star for the seller because of their response.

After weeks of testing various wireless chargers from lots of different brands (Mous, Spigen, Belkin etc) I was giving up hope until I found this one. Some of the other brands were okay to charge my device but had next to no grip for a car mount. Some of the other brands simply refused to charge my device and the excuse was "it's not an iPhone so we can't help" I have to give this charger a solid 5/5 or 10/10 whatever you like because it does what it is supposed to do brilliantly. It charges my phone fast and it holds my phone securely. Grip strength: Incredible! You can see in the video me slapping the phone to see quite when it'd fall off. You could go over a really nasty speed bump and it'd hold on just fine. One of the most expensive branded mounts I tested (mous) fell off after placing the full weight of my phone on it let alone trying to drive! Charging: This was my key issue with all of the other chargers. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro and everyone says that they are not compatible - this is not true! I used an ESR Ring mount on the back of my Spigen case and when working with this wireless charger I get the full 15w charge as indicated on one of my images. Other devices would do 5w or be intermittent jumping between fast charge and no charge. This starts slowly for a few seconds then ramps up to the full 15w as expected. On a 5v only supply this will draw about 1A, at 9v it'll do a bit more but when the charger allows 12v you get the full fast charge from it. I've tested this with an in-car plug and various chargers for around the house to check the actual output. to get a solid 15w is GREAT. Fit: I've had issues in the past with vent mounts for phones and the way this mount is designed makes the hold a lot better. The little leg that folds down at the bottom takes all of the weight out of the mount so the phone just stays put. Once it's in the air vent it doesn't move and it can take some aggressive driving easily. You can hear the firm click when the phone mounts to the charger. Modifications: I modified my charger to sit on a Brodit pillar mount. This was as easy as taking off a single screw and using some 3M tape. This means it can sit neatly my my A-Pillar and it's REALLY secure. There isn't anything wrong with the vent mount, I just prefer to have my phone in that position and I've found suction mounts don't get the correct angle. I've been using a piece of metal in a phone case and some magnets glued to the brodit mount for about a year so swapping to this far neater and easier solution is great. No more plugging in wires too.

Very happy with this purchase. Strong magnetic hold, charges quickly and fits well on the air vent. Feels solid and well made. Easy to install and use while driving. Fully satisfied

The magnet is so strong that it removes magnet stickers from the phone. And it overheats when plugged in but no phone attached

I bought this for my last car about a year and half ago before car was stolen, didn’t ever let me down, would get warm bc I’d have heat running and it’s mounted to vents so it’s not the products fault, only thing I was able to say bad about it was the vent clip wasn’t too strong so in the 18 months I had it, it fell off the vent maybe 10/15 times. That was the only let down. In terms of the magnet, it never failed my phone never fell off it was the clip that made the actual charger fall off. Now I’ve bought another one for my new car same company but they’ve seemed to have upgraded the clip it was so strong when I took it out of the box I genuinely thought the ends of the clip were glued together couldn’t unclamp them, hasn’t fallen off the vent once, decent charging rate (it’s common knowledge that a wired charge connection will always be faster. Definitely worth the money I’d highly recommend. Could do with a slightly longer wire than the one provided as there wasn’t much free hanging cable left after I wired it from the cigarette port to my right vent, still managed to reach easily but you’d want a wire that’s slightly longer in case you’re tucking the wire in properly into the dashboard gaps.

Nice solid mount since it has a brace that sticks down. Magnet strength is sufficient but not as good as some others I have had in the past. Charging rate can’t be measured but it certainly is changing without issues.

The ESR CAR Vent MagSafe Charger is overall a fantastic product. It’s sturdy, stable, and keeps my phone secure even on bumpy roads. The quick charging feature is excellent—charging my phone rapidly with minimal or no heating, which is perfect for long drives. I appreciate its flexibility, as it can be placed on either vent, including the passenger side, and the 360-degree rotation makes adjusting the viewing angle effortless. However, I do wish there were some metal components to reinforce the build. The plastic parts that attach to the vents are fine, but a bit of metal would ensure they don’t warp over time. Overall, it’s a solid and reliable charger with room for a little improvement in durability. Highly recommend for its performance and functionality

ESRのケース使用ですが、MagSafe対応のモデルでは無いため、強固な接着力というわけにはいきませんでした iPhone12 Proに於いては、問題なく接着されましたが、miniで使用するとケースの縁の僅かな土手が障害となりうまく接着しません ケースさえ変えれば問題なさそうですが、同メーカーの商品なのに上手くいかなかったので、多少残念でした 商品自体は素敵だと思います

Ich habe das ESR MagSafe Autoladegerät jetzt seit einigen Wochen in Gebrauch und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Hier ist meine ausführliche Bewertung basierend auf meinen Erfahrungen: Verpackung und Lieferumfang: Die Verpackung war sicher und gut durchdacht, allerdings wurde etwas viel Papier und Plastik verwendet. Im Lieferumfang war alles enthalten, wie beschrieben: MagSafe-Ladegerät, Lüftungsclip, Armaturenbrettanker, USB-C-Kabel und ein USB-C-Adapter. Der Adapter war besonders praktisch, da ich das Kabel so auch an einem bestehenden USB-Anschluss nutzen konnte. Ein Autoladeadapter war nicht im Lieferumfang, aber das war für mich kein Problem, da ich diesen bereits hatte. Installation und Montage: Ich habe die Lüftungshalterung verwendet, da sie mein Handy im Sommer kühl hält, besonders während der Navigation. Die Montage war sehr einfach und intuitiv: Schraube kurz lösen, Halterung einspannen, Schraube anziehen, und dann die Klemme an der Lüftung befestigen – ähnlich wie eine Wäscheklammer. Die Lüftungshalterung war stabil und hat durch den rutschfesten Gummi sowie eine zusätzliche Stütze einen sicheren Halt. Besonders gut: Die Stütze sorgt dafür, dass die Lüftungsöffnung selbst nicht zu stark belastet wird. Ladegeschwindigkeit und Kompatibilität: Das Schnellladen funktioniert gut, allerdings ist die Ladegeschwindigkeit bei induktiven Ladegeräten naturgemäß etwas langsamer als bei direktem Kabelanschluss. Für den Alltag reicht es jedoch vollkommen aus. Ich konnte mein iPhone 14 mit einer MagSafe-kompatiblen Hülle problemlos laden, auch auf unebenen Straßen hält der Magnet das Handy sicher. Benutzerfreundlichkeit: Der Wechsel zwischen Hoch- und Querformat ist einfach, da das Handy direkt gedreht werden kann. Die Positionierung an der Lüftungshalterung ist für die Navigation optimal, und die kabellose Ladefunktion spart Kabelsalat. Allerdings würde ich empfehlen, die Halterung nicht regelmäßig über das Gelenk zu drehen, da das Nachjustieren der Schraube etwas mühsam ist. Verarbeitung und Qualität: Das Produkt wirkt hochwertig, von den robusten Plastikkomponenten bis zur stylischen Ladefläche. Es gibt keine wackeligen Teile, und die Magnethalterung ist beeindruckend stark. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt wäre das Gewinde am Gelenk, das sich besser fixieren lassen könnte. Fazit: Das ESR MagSafe Autoladegerät ist ein durchdachtes und zuverlässiges Produkt, das im Alltag viele Vorteile bietet. Besonders die starke Magnethalterung und die einfache Handhabung haben mich überzeugt. Für den Preis von etwa 27 Euro ist die Leistung und Qualität absolut angemessen.
