KNIPEX Tools it’s a little slice of heaven for my hands. Now, full disclosure: when your grip starts losing its superhero strength, you might need to go full tag-team mode with two hands to cut some thicker wires. But for me? One hand does the trick, and it feels like cheating against stubborn wires. Yes, KNIPEX tools are on the pricier side—but hey, you’re paying for sheer joy and zero frustration. Every cut is smooth, every strip is clean, and it makes my electrician (and occasional DIY) life ridiculously easy. If you like tools that do the heavy lifting while making you look cool doing it, this one’s a winner. Just don’t be surprised if your other tools start feeling jealous. :D

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I recently wired my new home. Versatility: I was able to use this for every circuit, made perplexing to rough-in, and final inspections a breeze! Speed: My dad was using pair of dykes making up the switch boxes, and I was making up the outlets (so so many outlets) I not only finished first, but ended up jumping in and doing about 1/3 of the switch boxes in the same area he was working in. Total dream to use! Grip: Great grip with and without gloves Works well: Cannot hammer home enough just how sharp, durable, and well engineered for the purpose these are. This was my first knipex product, and it will not be the last!

Hands down the most versatile, tough, and long lasting strippers I've ever used. This is my 2nd purchase. My first ones got blown up on the 14 awg (still works but got annoying). Still sharp as they were when I got them about 4 or 5 years ago. Knipex makes the best hand tools!

Heavy duty, super sharp, awesomely effective strippers that can also twist wire connections in a pinch. They are super heavy, which can make them a bit difficult to use one-handed in some situations, especially at awkward angles in tight spaces. However, if you want one tool that can easily take the place of 2 or 3, these are for you.

If you are an electrician or just a handyman, buy these, you wont regret it

Nice tool. I am fond of the lock. the non lever type is not obtrusive. That is good. The blades are thick and the knives sharp. I don't think it fits stranded wire too well. Lots of nicks if using 12/12 Lots of tearing insulation if using 10/12 i.e., the solid hole, same gauge is too small, the next size up is too large. It would be nice if the tip was crosshatched. That way the twisted wires would not splay when twisted. I have been using an Irwin pair that works great except for the narrow tip that splayed the wires. I used the Irwin to strip then crosshatched duckbills to twist. Two tools, With this one I was trying to get down to one. Didn't work., Maybe I can get a diamond file and cut crosshatching in. We will see. Anyhow, these are built well. Maybe overbuilt since the others cost 1/4th as much so you can replace them often and not come close to the cost of this one. However, if this lasts 4x longer before going dull or opening up even more (which would make it pretty much useless for stranded, unless you want nicked and damaged wire, it might be OK. Again, We will see. I'll give them a good month of work before I decide to go back to before and carry an additional tool or not.

Excelentes pinzas para electricista. Permite pelar perfectamente cables de los calibres especificados. Las puntas de pinza permiten torcer los cables perfectamente y tiene un gran agarre. Con el hueco redondo en la punta se pueden hacer los ganchos en el alambre muy bien. Las cuchillas de corte son extraordinarias y el sistema de corte de tornillos funciona perfectamente. El resorte de apertura y el sistema de bloqueo son las únicas partes con las que tengo un pequeño inconveniente. El sistema de bloqueo deja tantito abiertas las pinzas, nada grave pero no me encanta y el resorte a veces no abre las pinzas lo suficiente para introducir por arriba un cable de calibre 12 o mayor y necesita una ayudadita. He probado múltiples pinzas para pelar de electricista y estas hacen el trabajo no solo de las pinzas para pelar sino también el de las pinzas de electricista normales. La calidad de manufactura es excelente: lo esperado de Knipex.
