KJV Holy Bible, My Creative Bible, Faux Leather Hardcover - Ribbon Marker, King James Version, Bright Pink w/Elastic Closure (KJV Creative Editions)

This is a journaling Bible. You can underline passages and verses. Put tabs to separate books of Bible. Drawings to color. It has a washable cover.. It’s pink. I bought 2 , 1 for me and 1 for my sister as a Christmas present. It’s beautiful in person. And reasonable.

The cover color is as depicted, nice and bright. The lettering is etched rather than stamped, even on the outer spine (as pictured). Perfect! It has one ribbon page marker of similar color. It has a pretty design when covers closed, a floral print in complementary colors. Beautiful and sturdy cover. They enclosed a nice book mark with tasteful advertising with “Five Questions to ask when you read the Bible” to help get you started with notes. The Bible came nicely wrapped in a fairly sturdy plastic wrap. The print is maybe 10 or 11, not quite sure but a very readable print. I crossed my fingers and bought several of them, the others are as gifts so remain unopened. I’m glad I did! The pages are of reasonable thickness for a Bible, some pages stick which is common for newly purchased Bibles in general. Just be aware and carefully separate them. The drawings have a hand drawn like appearance, which is charming. Some of the lined notation pages you can see the drawings from the next page, while others you can’t. Transparency wise you need about 3 pages between an artist drawing to not see outlines of it. I haven’t actually colored or written in it, but hopefully that gives you an idea. I would be inclined to use pencil and/or color pencil, some of you may know of other options that may work fairly well. Even though I think pen and ink may not be desirable, I’m super pleased with this Bible. It’s beautiful! I intend on buying more of them.

Very pretty. pages are thin, but have not torn with the coloring yet. The band is nice cause it keeps it closed and the pages from damage. It has a nice area on the side for note taking where there is no picture, and the pictures are all pretty fun! They might be good for helping with verse memorization cause your looking at it for a while coloring it. The book mark is good, but there is only one. Its a reasonable size. The font is very readable.

Wonderful and beautiful. This is honestly the first Bible I have purchased. This Bible is absolutely fantastic!!!!! I just can't wait to get started.

I have several Bibles, but not my own KJV. I was for a long time intimidated by it and being able to understand it over the NLV. I ABSOLUTELY Love this Bible. It's so compact that I can put it in my bag and take it with me everywhere. The creative art images gives me the opportunity to meditate on the scriptures as I color the images created for them. There are marginal lines to take notes or create your own art. This is the ultimate Bible for creative minds that learn visually. I plan to get my teenage granddaughter that loves to draw one. I usually get book covers for my Bibles, but this one I want to leave just the way it is because it's so pretty. It's also durable. It is kind of a Victorian style. I can go on and on about it. I can also get lost in it, which compels me to read my Bible more and for longer periods of time. I definitely recommend this Bible to all believers with creative minds that love to draw and Journal.

Gekregen als cadeau, erg blij mee. De bladzijden zijn wat dun,maar met potloden goed in te kleuren.

Es preciosa. Nunca se me pasó por la cabeza la posibilidad de decorar, dibujar y colorear una Biblia. Cuando ví en Youtube las preciosidades que se pueden hacer con Art Journal Bible me animé a comprarla. La pena es que en Español no se hagan Biblias así. Hay infinidad de dibujos y frases en los laterales de las páginas que se pueden colorear tanto en acuarela como con lapices de colores. Podréis hacer vuestros propios dibujos, estampaciones, ponerle pegatinas etc. Los cantos de la Biblia vienen dibujados con rosas y la portada es de un material similar al cuero. En fin, una maravilla.

Ich liebe diese Bibel, denn - es ist eine KJV - sie liegt gut in der Hand - die Schrift ist (für mich) gut lesbar - das Papier ist leicht getönt, dadurch blendet es nicht beim Lesen im Freien - das Gummiband zum Verschließen ist sehr praktisch und macht einen haltbaren Eindruck - der Einband ist abwaschbar und wirkt hochwertig, überhaupt ist er durch die Prägung einmalig schön - es ist eine KJV! (Sagte ich schon, aber das ist mir auch wichtig. :-)) Die Zeichnungen sind teils schön verspielt, teils zu modern für meinen Geschmack. Aber ich will (vermutlich) nicht darin malen, ich finde nur, der Text wird durch die Zeichnungen angenehm unterbrochen, es liest sich für mich angenehmer. Wichtiger war mir, überhaupt einen Schreibrand für eigene Anmerkungen zu haben. Diese Bibel ist so eine schöne und lebendige Ausgabe des Wortes Gottes, wohl das Schönste, was ich je auf Amazon erstanden habe. :-)
