Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free

This is the best glass screen protector I have had to date. It fits the iPhone 12 mini perfectly while not conflicting with the edges of two cases I have tried it with. The rounded edges are good for two reasons: 1) your finger does not catch on the edge when swiping; 2) the rounded edge does not catch when it is in your pocket like flat edges can, pulling up a tad to let dust underneath the edge. The matte finish is great too. It is a very fine matte finish so the screen does not blur out or get sparkles like more course finishes. It will look a bit of the matte effect from oil on fingers and such, so one needs to wipe it down like any screen. It did seem like the matte finish was not a matte after several months of heavy use, which seams a reasonable durability to me. Application is easy. As with any screen protector, I have discovered that after cleaning the phone screen it helps to: 1) use a fine microfiber cloth for eyeglasses on the phone screen, and 2) spray a VERY fine mist of 90% isopropyl alcohol on the phone screen itself and leave it wet when applying the protector and then use a credit card wrapped with a microfiber cloth as a squeegee. This allows one to reposition the protector by sliding it precisely if needed AND any remaining dust particles tend to be carried by the alcohol to the edge and off the screen when squeegeed. The alcohol evaporates after a few minutes. otherwise, if you try to lift the protector after application to get a few dust motes out, it is easy to mess up the thin and rounded edge or bend it such that it will not reapply flat and seamless. Trust me...I messed one up doing just that. Only one complaint: two to three protectors should be included in the box. I would pay extra for that as an option at the least. Saves packaging waste, gives you an immediate backup when needed down the road OR if you mess up the application of one screen. See above.

This is my second screen protector. I initially bought a more expensive one, but wound up with a few air bubbles I could not get rid of. To be fair, it was probably user error--probably didn't clean all the dust out. Anyways, decided to redo it but didn't want to spend a lot of money so opted for Motcha because it was cheaper. Glad I did. Product is the same exact quality as the more expensive brands and the installation process was super simple and the protector went on perfectly without any dust or air bubbles. No interference with the screen and it looks and feels real smooth. If you're looking for a first screen protector for your 12 mini, give this one a go. Worst comes to worst, if it does break, they have a lifetime warranty so you can get it replaced or decide afterwards to get a more expensive one, but I doubt you'll need to--this one is great!

Just got an iphone 12 mini and of course had to make sure to buy a good screen protector for it. It was easy to install and fits great. I have bought this same style Mothca matte screen protector in the past for other phones and I'll never buy another brand. Not only is this a great value, but they're pretty durable and fingerprint resistant. Probably went through 3 or 4 of these for my last iPhone (I tend to drop my phone a lot) so even though it's a pretty tough screen protector, eventually my clumsiness will result in a crack to the screen protector, but never the actual screen which is just a testament to this product's usefulness. I have recommended this brand to many people over the years and I don't give out recommendations willy-nilly. Each screen protector comes with screen wipes to prep the screen and dust remover stickers. Comes in a pretty basic, lightweight box, no extra plastic or wasteful materials, which I also appreciate. Don't go and spend 20 bucks when you can get a great deal for so much less! I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

Despite there being no tool to assist in the application of this screen protector, getting it on was fairly easy and the results speak for themselves. No more finger print smudges! Swiping on my phone feels great! Visually, there is a faint granular effect to this screen protector but it is something that your mind forgets about almost immediately. Overall, great purchase!

I've waited a few months of use to write this. I always use screen protectors first for the purpose of eliminating the HORRIBLE feeling of glass and secondly to protect from scratches. This makes me always buy "matte finish" protectors because all the others try to imitate glass, which I hate. Glass is only smooth to swipe when the conditions are exactly right. Your finger needs to be dry and the screen clean otherwise your finger jitters across, stopping and starting with the utmost annoying feeling. Glare is stupid too. At first, I was skeptical of this one because it has very little of the "anti-glare" coloration or visible "pixels" that usually accompany Matte finish protectors. The last brand I tried sported a clearer look but quickly began to wear away and felt jittery in the location that took the most abuse. Turns out after a few months using this protector, it is winning in that it is still holding up while also having a very good clear view of the screen. Now I can have both worlds! It still feels "Smooth as Silk." As far as protecting from scratches, sure, don't they all? I never drop my phone and need some sort of protection from screen breakage so this doesn't apply. So I guess if you're looking for the same expectations as me, this really is a winner.

I’ve been 100% loyal to Zach until now! I was also super nervous about whether I would like any alternative but this one proved me way wrong. It was the easiest to install I have ever experienced. I’m also one of those nerds who needs the screen protector to be perfect and have no dust. I will even go to great lengths to book an appointment at the phone store just to have a screen protector installed perfectly.. smh! This time I went for it and there was no dust AND the screen smoothed out it’s own bubbles. I just had to press one bubble and it disappeared like magic! The anti-glare is perfection, super easy to install, and the touch screen works as if there’s no screen at all. I am thrilled I found this on Amazon. It’s basically the same price as a warranty replacement through Zagg but arrives sooner and they’ll issue a free replacement if there’s any defect or crack! I am NEVER going back.. I’m now a loyal customer of this brand for sure.

This screen protector was super easy to apply. I loved the matte finish and anti-glare features which is why I am so disappointed that it cracked after falling about 12 inches from the ground. I thought is had a lifetime replacement warranty but I just looked at my purchase history and see that I am mistaken. I would expect it to have lasted more than a little more than 2 months and survive more than one fall.

I actually really like this screen protector. It brings a softness to the screen that I really love. Had no issues installing. The one bubble pocket I had worked itself out over a day or so. There’s still one tiny pocket, but I’m not hard pressed over it. I would buy this again once I see it actually protects the screen as well.

Just bought one from AU it took 2 weeks and a half to arrive from US. It’s worth the wait. I have used this product before with my previous phone and had to get this same one again for my new phone for its smooth texture that I just love. Your phone screen always stays clean from oil, dirt and any makeup on your face. It’s really what it says on the description. If you are looking for a matte smooth protector, def give a try. Can’t recommend this enough.
