Tasty chewable zinc tablets – good quality and useful addition during seasonal changes
Great taste and quality for chewable tablets. We tend to use them at the first sign of seasonal sniffles, and they’ve become a regular part of our household routine. Easy to take and pleasant flavour – much better than many alternatives we’ve tried.

Lozenges taste fine, taken at the first sign of a runny nose, plus an extra 1000mg lipsomal C, usually means that's all I get. Next day back to normal. Far better than just C.

Taste horrible!
At first it seemed to taste minty and then the flavour fades really quick. It tastes so disgusting that you have to chew extra fast just to get it down. Then eat something else really quick after to get the horrible taste out of your teeth and mouth. Yuck

Taste is okay
These are certainly edible. The taste is okay but I wouldn't exactly eat these for pleasure. The texture is okay. As always you do have to take the manufacturers word on the actual contents. These is evidence for the usefulness of supplementing with zinc but I doubt it will help that much with a cold.

Nice minty flavour.
I've been convinced of the benefit of zinc lozenges when a cold infection threatens for a long time. These ones only contain zinc, with no vitamin C added, but it's the zinc that I think provides the protection for the throat. The price is rather high for 45 lozenges but they come from a respected well known brand. The flavour is minty and pleasant. They dissolve in the mouth over about three minutes and leave a feeling of having coated the mouth surfaces well. I can't claim that they have stopped a cold yet as I haven't caught one. The lozenges come packed in 5 press-out foil & plastic sheets inside a card box. I would like it if Healthspan did more to make their packaging more sustainable.
