I really really love this self tanner. It is inexpensive, does not streak and looks completely natural on my skin. With other self tanners I used before, after a day or maybe after the second shower I took after using self tanner, they used to kind of rub off on certain parts of my body, so that it looked like I had some kind of skin problems or something, white spots and so on. But with this one, no matter how many showers I take after the initial night that I let it soak in, it does not rub off...if anything it fades after a while, just like a real tan would. It is easy to apply, the only thing that bothered me after applying it was the smell, but I understand that there is probably no self tanner in the world that will not smell a little bit. After taking a shower the next morning, the smell was gone anyway. I apply regular lotion and let that dry for about 30 minutes before I apply the self tanner. Specially on my knees, ellbows, knuckles and ankles. It comes out perfectly even and doesnt look orangy at all. I would recommend this product to anyone, specially since real tanning is damaging your skin. Great product. Great price.

I’ve tried everything under the sun for self tanning especially when I was pregnant and everything I’ve ever used is orange or streaky etc. this comes in a dark shimmer as well but I only get the one that looks like a white lotion when you apply it. You run it on just like lotion and use a decent amount like you’re moisturizing. Rub it in evenly all over until its mostly absorbed into the skin, just be careful around the ankle abs elbow areas I always kinda of brush my hands on those parts after I’ve already done my body that way it’s still on my hands but just moistened enough to give it slight color without it leaving the ankle and elbow area darker or orange looking. Just one use of this changes your color dramatically (in a good brown way) and it last about a week but if you reapply it for a few days you’ll be set for a few weeks! I only apply it at night that way when I shower in the morning the color has already set in and you’re ready to go😁 I love using it on my face too! It’s the most natural looking self tanner I’ve come across and I’ve been using it for years I just hate that I can’t find it in stores anymore but was thankful to find it on here!

I was really squeamish to try inexpensive self-tanning products. I've only ever used Clarins, which is one of the best in the industry, but who really wants to pay $50-60 for a few ounces of self-tanner? Now that I'm in grad school I have to pinch pennies, so Clarins is not an option. The Banana Boat Deep Dark Color on most websites always had really high reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. Very quick fulfillment from the seller through Prime - I ordered this on a Friday afternoon and it arrived on my door Tuesday morning. I used it yesterday on my legs and within 4 hours my legs had an even, dark, natural-looking tan! I could totally tell the difference because I didn't do my lower ankles or feet (since I hadn't exfoliated) and it looked like I had a sock line! I didn't think the first application would give so much color, but it did! It does have that weird self-tanner smell but it's not too powerful. This morning I shaved my legs and thought the tanner would come off completely. It didn't. You could see some of it coming off the razor but after my shower my legs just looked a little lighter. I was relieved to find the tan was still visible and still even, no razor lines. Looks like this should be a low-maintenance way too keep my legs looking sun kissed all summer! Having glowing legs really boosted my mood - the tan sort of evens out your skin and keeps your leg veins from being visible. Give your skin this gift and STOP ruining your skin in tanning beds, ladies!

Love this self tanner! Normally I just buy it at the drugstore but lately I’ve had trouble finding it. I hope it’s not being discontinued! I’ve tried more expensive self tanners and this one is still just as good, if not better than most! It is possible to get streaks but not as easily as you do with foams and it’s better than sprays because it moisturizes and doesn’t fade patchy! I usually do have to put it on two days in a row to get the desired color, even with the dark one, which is the only one that’s worth using...but it’s really the best self tanner out there for the price! For everyone saying they changed the formula...I was using this back then it was tinted instead of white as well. I’m assuming whatever it was tinted with, they found out is not good for you so they had to change it. However, I don’t think it changed the formula. I never noticed a difference in color after the tan sets. I think it’s an illusion in the mind that it’s darker with the tint. Here’s the pros and cons: Pros: Moisturzing. Fades evenly, not patchy. Good color (the main thing). No glitter or shimmer. Super inexpensive. No bad reactions. Cons: Typical self tanner smell. Possible to get some streaks. Doesn’t dry as quickly as sprays. Usually have to put it on a couple days in a row to get desired color.

There is nothing better than this. This is THE best wipe-on tan on the market. It has great, natural-looking color which lasts for a couple of days. People cannot tell that it's not a natural tan. My legs really look great. Pros: Easy to cream on; blends well, natural looking color (I use deep dark color), smells nice, not greasy, I use this product instead of body lotion after shaving my legs, it has terrific moisturizing properties. Cons: Fades after 2 or 3 showers; does not eliminate freckles or blotches - to cover freckles and blotches for one day, I use Sally Hansen's spray-on pantyhose on top of the Banana Boat Self-Tanning Deep Dark lotion.

Lightly tinted and you can see a difference immediately. My face never tans, it goes from white to red to white. But with this I actually get compliments that I do look nicely tanned without looking orange. Highly recommend
