I was able to activate the card and use it within a day. O2 has the best customer service. Including transferring my balance from my lost sim. I received the sim card by mail from the Amazon merchants within a few days. Delivery was faster than expected.

You have to really dig through the O2 website to find out that you can't use an American credit or debit card to use this. UK based cards only.

Do not buy this product - it is promoted as Unlimited minutes and texts when in fact you are paying 10 GDB for a sim that has no value. I purchased in Jan for a March UK trip and now the return date has passed before I could activate in the UK
