Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Case (2016) - Black

**UPDATED REVIEW**6/15/16- When my original review came out, and I received an almost immediate response from Spigen offering to make things right, I decided to give this case another shot. I've used it exclusively as my daily driver for the last two weeks and it has taken everything I have thrown at it. There is a lot more to this case than I thought. Yep, it's very light and it doesn't look like much but over the past two weeks it has proven itself to be my new daily case. It has turned out not to be as slick as it was originally- maybe I just had to use it more, but I haven't had any problems holding it or using my phone when it was sitting on my desk. Actually I don't think I have dropped my phone at all while using this case, which is really what you want in a good case. It has turned out to be remarkably comfortable. It is not much bigger than the phone itself and slides in and out of my pocket easily, but I can still grab it with no issues when I need to pull it out of my pocket. The back is smooth enough so it does not catch on anything but the upper and lower back edge is slightly rougher so it is easy to pick up- but those rougher edges are almost inlaid into the case so they do not stick out. The outside edges are raised just enough to ensure that the screen does not touch the desk when my phone is upside down. It is very easy to take out of the case (i.e. to clean the phone) but it does not come out when I don't want it to come out. So this is a situation when I return to a review and hang my head and admit I was wrong- this is a lot better case than I thought, and considering it costs a lot less than the other two cases I have, I'm very impressed! I have upgraded my review to 5 stars- all things considered this is a great case.** I have had more cases for this phone than I can count, trying to find the "right" one. The reviews for this were excellent so I went for it on a daily deal. Well, it's okay- I thought it would be a bit bigger, to make me feel more secure, but it's not (although to be honest there are not a lot of big cases for this phone). It looks to be made well, and it fits on the phone well, but I am not convinced that it is the best one I have tried. I have two other cases I swap out regularly: an Otterbox Commuter, and a Tech21 EvoFrame. I like the Commuter because it is just solid but it's a bit bigger. The Tech21 is kind of rubbery and provides a pretty good grip for the phone. My first case was an Otterbox Symmetry, which I returned because it was just too slick for me. This Spigen case is almost the same way- I don't feel like I have a really good grip on the phone, so more than likely I won't use it a lot. I am sure it's a good case but it is just not for me. I will continue to try it out though, and will update this review if my opinion changes.

This case is legit. Spigen always makes great products. I got my S7 Edge from T-Mobile early and the case fits the phone beautifully. Nice and snug. The sides along the edges are not loose and flimsy like a lot of other cases for the edge phones are. I'm not worried about the phone coming out of the case at all if I drop it. I'm also confident it will protect the phone. The cutouts are nicely sized and positioned and my headphones and chargers plug in with no issues. From the pictures I saw, I thought that the speaker cutout would be a bit too small, but that is not the case at all (pun intended). The buttons are clicky and are not hard to push. The case looks and feels AMAZING. The carbon fiber accents are beautiful and the back of the case feels fantastic and high quality. The sides have a kind of chamfered feeling and it makes the phone a pleasure to hold. If you're looking for a functional, beautiful case that will protect the phone without adding bulk, this is definitely the case for you. Highly recommended.

I ordered this case because my earlier case was transparent and light had taken its toll on it. It had become yellowish and for this reason I will not buy a transparent cover again. Pros: This one is black and very nicely made. It fits perfectly well and does not cover the edges so much that you can not use a decent screen protector with it. I am using a screen protector that covers the whole screen end-to-end and the cover works really well with it. The description says that it protects against drops. My son dropped my phone once about a month ago and it was fine. No harm done. So I am assuming that it will provide protection. The design is classic and I like it. Rear matte finish ensures you will not get many fingerprints on it so it generally remains neat and clean. Cons: The power button cutout on the cover losses its position at times. It can be quickly fixed and brought back in position.

I've had my S7 Edge since the 29th. Thanks to T-mobile shipping theirs out nearly 2 weeks early :) Fantastic phone fyi; This case fits perfect. Sleek, attractive. Compliments the S7 very well. The buttons do indeed work good. This case doesn't make them difficult to press in at all. This was probably my biggest concern...so I'm glad that not an issue. It provides a little more grip for sure, though it's not super tacky. Anything is better than the glass of course. I really don't know how people can go without cases on these glass backed phones. It is so incredibly slippery bare naked. 4 stars simply because it's a low cost case and it's just TPU....but I highly recommend it!!

The fit and finish on this case are excellent. There are no gaps around any of the edges or corners. Material quality is on par with all of Spigens cases; no flaws or blemishes, case looks exactly as pictured. The lowered side edges allow me to use the Edge functions on the phone, and the raised edges on the top and bottom allow me to put the phone face down without worrying about scratching the glass. The buttons on both sides are easy to operate, and the cutouts for the headphones, power cord, and camera are the right size for all of my cords. I like the slim design of this case; it's not as protective overall as something like an otterbox, but I'm not very rough on my devices. This case allows me to easily get the phone in and out of my pocket.

Una buena funda y ahora a mejor precio, debo decir que el acabado de la misma es de calidad y cubre bien el teléfono sin sentirse forzada o bultosa, tampoco entorpece el uso de los bordes curvos ni despega la mica que compre para proteger la pantalla, recomiendo la marca y ya con algunos meses de uso aún luce muy bien, casi sin rayones, además es muy flexible para aquellos que gusten de estar sacando su teléfono para limpiarlo u otras funciones, como la carga inalámbrica aunque la uso con la funda puesta y sin ningún problema, el empaque es atractivo y lo esperado para un protector de este tipo.

Ho acquistato questa cover per le recensioni positive che ha , anche se prima dell' acquisto ero molto scettico , mi sono dovuto ricredere ; -Amazon Per iniziare devo dire che il pacco Amazon è arrivato in ottimo stato e rispettando i tempi come sempre . -la confezione del prodotto : ha un ottimo design e anche la qualità non è da meno . -la Cover La cover è in silicone nero e opaco (eccellente al tatto) con alcune finiture in lucido e soprattutto con due fasce a tema di fibra in carbonio che fa la sua "Porca" figura inoltre la parte interna della cover presenta una griglia incisa che dovrebbe assorbire gli urti ed è chiamata tecnologia Air cushion , notare anche il bellissimo stemma Spigen. Oltre al bel design c'è da dire che la cover è robusta e flessibile ,quindi riesce assorbire bene gli urti e in più rende la presa dello smartphone più confortevole e sicura, insomma la cover mi è piaciuta tantissimo anche perché il prezzo della cover è basso in confronto alla qualità che ha. Ps. La cover ormai c'è l'ho da parecchi mesi ed è ancora come nuova , impossibile ammacarla o rigarla con l'uso normale quotidiano

Llevo 2 meses con esta funda. Es de buena calidad y queda muy bonita puesta, aunque sea ruborizada. Mejora la sensación y seguridad en el agarre. Lo que pasa es que a mi se me ha rallado un poco la parte trasera con el roce de una cremallera de bolsillo. Los botones se pueden presionar bien. Protege la pantalla gracias a que la parte superior e inferior sobresale un poco, pero obviamente que no evitará que se rompa el edge que queda al descubierto. Acompañada de un protector Yootech queda bien encajado y no se levanta el protector. Eso si, si acabas de poner el protector no pongas la funda hasta que pase unas horas, que entonces si se despega. Actualización Después de más tiempo, me parece la mejor funda para el S7 edge y no dudaré en comprar otra igual. Ha protegido bien el teléfono con varias caídas, así que por muy robusta que sea, creo que merece la pena para proteger el teléfono.

This case is great. It's nice and slim and fits my S7 Edge perfectly. The cut outs for the charge ports are just the right size and line up nicely. It doesn't add much bulk yet still provides a bit of protection from minor drops. It just looks and feels great in the hand. I like the soft feel of the rubber which adds a nice bit of grip to the phone, and the carbon accents give it a nice polished look and feel.
