Top value and top quality. However, optimal performance requires extreme levels of power.
30 years of building speakers and running PA systems from clubs to 5K seat venues. There are few that can match these, and none are anywhere close to this price. These are equal to drivers found in top-level Line Array rigs of companies like Clair, JBL, Turbosound, etc.However, they will not perform to their ability if you don't feed them PLENTY of power. 3,000 Watts of clean, un-clipped power is a minimum per speaker, with 6,000 to 10,000 watts being optimal. Typical 1KW amps won't drive these, they'll just be boomy and non-linear. This amount of power is probably out of the budget of all but large-scale sound companies if buying several, and there are plenty of other drivers out there that will give an adequate performance with much less power. If you can put that kind of power to these, however, they will not disappoint, and nothing will outperform them.
