Great little attachment! Needed it to drill holes in some tight spaces and it worked perfectly, will hold onto this for sure.

Well made right angle for very tight spaces. About 2.25 inches from back to face of hex chuck. Flexible shaft means the drill does not need to get really close to the work. I like that it uses hex bits, but I need to find shorter hex drill bits for some really tight applications. Worth the money. Saved my bacon in just one use.

I decided to buy this particular right angle extension over the other/cheaper units on offer because of the Dewalt name. I needed it to unscrew a control unit under my dashboard, behind my radio. I didn't want to take the whole dash apart to get at the screws so I needed a somewhat slim 90 degree or so angle device to get at them. There were cheaper units to be sure, but I figured I would probably need the flexible shaft for this job too. Indeed I did. This worked very well for me. I did not stress it with the work I did, so I am not sure how many RPMs it will take before it fails, but it appears to be a sturdy piece of kit that will last for quite some time if not abused. The magnet in the head for keeping the screws aligned was not that strong however. I did drop each one of the three screws at least twice. That would be my only suggestion for improvement.

Sure there's flexible bit holders ... 2 of mine lost their detente balls. ?The other just is a pain. I have to get used to when to use the little detachable handle and when I don't have to .... The bit seats low. The handle can change from left to right. Simple makes my life easier every time I have to use it ...

Put this under the 5 stars so maybe you won't get ripped off. Read the one star reviews. They are all true.!!! TOTAL JUNK!!! I would write anothe review but if you will read a few of the other 1 star review I had all of the exact same issues. Waste of money and time. I spent more time changing bits (with vice grips) than doing any work!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

This is going to be very useful when working on the car or the motorcycle for running on or off fasteners in tight places where the bulky, cordless drill can't reach. I almost never use a ratchet anymore, it's a breaker bar and cordless drill to remove the fastener, and the drill and torque wrench to replace it. This item is like a micro-drill that can get into the tight spaces and spin a fastener on or off, so that I don't have to waste time ratcheting, ratcheting, ratcheting, etc.
