I do not know the dimension of 16"BMacBook Pro. The interior dimension's, briefcase is, 7 " deep by 5" wide, 14.3/4 " long, yes, my laptop fixes with room left over, the top of the briefcase is in and arch, so you have more room at the top than 7" but the inside dimension's is 7x5x143/4 long. I have been very happy with my briefcase hope this has been beneficial for you!
