Better than I anticipated for less than the popular brand. Buy the sight adjustment too.!
Edit 2: It's been a few months and I am impressed by the seeming durability and accuracy of these sights. At first I thought about replacing them (the rear too) with Magpul Mbus because so many go with and recommend the Magul, perhaps largely because of the name. But the UTG's are METAL sights and sit very low and out of the way. I think they're just as easy or easier to deploy than the Mbus. I got these sighted in and at 75' without a bench rest shot some pretty respectable groups. See the photo above and you can see the group in the photo is as tight as the one with the red dot (which apparently needs re-zeroing). If you're not going to play in the sandbox or on a regular duty where stuff gets abused why pay more, especially if red dot is your main thing? Edit: As a new rifle shooter I didn't understand what "lower 3rd co-witnessing" was. I thought I needed sights that stood up more and also didn't understand that I wasn't holding the butt stock of my rifle high enough. And so I may repeat some of what I said initially, but have grown to have a greater respect for these sights. As I've lived with them for a few weeks I can say they are very easy to install, to use and sight in, providing you get a front sight adjustment tool. If anything fails it will be the ball bearing that allows the sights to flip up and hold position. While they do not have the push button flipper that Magpuls have, they can be deployed just as quickly. Unlike Magpuls you don't have to wrestle them on and they secure easily and lay very flat. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. You can always spend twice the money or more for something more "battle tested". But it seems rugged enough and I would think these are reliable enough as I think they are well engineered and manufactured to withstand a modest amount of use. This front sight installed in seconds in the forward-most position on my picatinny rail. It is simple to operate. Just flip it up and it locks in place. You push the release button and fold it back, all done with one hand. It's not spring loaded like some, but IMO the spring loading is absolutely not needed and something else to break. A small plastic bearing clicks it in place and I've seen how it could be replaced by a steel bearing if needed. I found these sights to be great in the respect that I don't have to dismount my red dot to use the iron sights. Even better, I was able to use the red dot to be able to get the sights aligned and basically sighted in. If this works for the initial adjustments it should save me some $$ not having to spend it on ammo to get it sigthed in. I'll have to see how good this method works later in the week at the range. THE ONE THING that I wrestled with is the front sight adjustment without the tool. I used the red dot to dial in windage and elevation, but the front sight was tricky to do without the $10 front sight adjustment tool. You have to push down on the locking pin which is off to the side by the right wall, then attempt to turn the turret. With other sights you can do that with your thumb and a bullet, but the adjustment is too recessed in the housing. I ended up using a small allen key to push the release button and a bullet (sometimes a nail) to turn the turret. It wasn't easy and took about 15 minutes to get the elevation where it coincided with the red dot. It would have taken 60 seconds with the proper tool. I didn't mark the accuracy box, but I have no doubt that once I make any additional adjustments it should be fine. Hopefully it will (and I expect it to) hold zero well. I originally gave it overall 4 stars, because of the hassel of the elevation adjustment and perhaps only because it's not a Magpul or Troy that have are industry standards. But if my red dot ever isn't available I think this will work fine as a backup. As a follow up, I temporarily had a set of Magpul knockoffs for almost as much as the UTG sights (thinking they were genuine when I purchased them as they were advertised as such... and got my money back). While the genuine Magpuls would be better quality than what I received with the knockoffs I could see that the UTG sights are a great value. I hope to compare them to genuine Magpul sights, but I think I'm going to still like the UTG sights better. We'll see. Stay tuned.

Surprised by the quality
Sturdy and compact. Rear sight it easy to adjust and holds zero well ( so far ). Great quality and inexpensive. I have really been converted to a UTG fan. Everything I've ever bought from them has been just incredibly well built. Highly recommended.

First Class Sight for a Bargain Price
Prior to purchasing the AR style rear and front UTG metal flip up sights I first bought the Troy Industries flip up sights. The Troy's A2 style front sight post I received would not budge more than a quarter turn either way using their tool. Then I tried Magpul's MBUS Pro metal flip up sights. That has a no tool front sight adjust with a thumb wheel. No matter how many turns either way the sight post never moved appreciably. I was using Wheeler's magnetic end-of-the-barrel laser bore sight to show me bullet impact so I could see precisely the relationship between the top of the front sight post and bullet impact. I returned the Magpul sights. Both Troy's and Magpul's flip up metal sights are slmost 3 times the cost of UTG's. While Troy and Magpul flip up metal sights have a lot of good reviews, they are not all good. At three times the price of UTG I wouldn't expect any bad ones to slip through quality control. The third time was the charm. The UTG front and rear flip up metal sights installed without a hitch like their much more expensive cousins. The UTG front sight post is also an A2 style but operated without a hitch. I popped in the A2 tool and it turned properly as should be expected. The rear sight adjustment is a thumb wheel which also turned with a mild amount of force. I did not experience the problem reported by a couple of reviewers who said that they were forced to move the UTG rear ghost ring all the way to one side or the other to achieve zero. A short period ago I bought UTG's 12 gauge front and rear iron sights and they installed and zeroed without a problem I can't yet attest to whether UTG's sights can take some abuse and still function. UTG is the exception to the rule that reasonably priced means less quality.

Should come with adjustment tool
This is a very decent front BUIS. Seems sturdy. Low profile when collapsed. Operates smoothly. Only problem I'm having is finding a front site adjustment tool. It says it will use a standard A2 adjustment tool, but all the ones I've tried do not fit. I'm stuck trying to adjust with a nail or pin and I'm scratching the site around the post. Not a big deal, but the Magpul MBUS come with adjustment tools for not much more than this costs.

Good sight
Good sight for the money. Sturdy and lightweight. Didn’t expect the quality for that price but it exceeded my expectations. Very easy to install fits on the picatiny rail perfectly and uses standard ar sight adjustment tool.

Tremendous Value and Quality!!
The UTG Super Slim Low Profile Front (MNT-755) and Rear (MNT-955) sights offer great value and quality for backup AR sights. These sights are standard issue on the Springfield Armory Saint AR platforms and that says allot about the quality, value, and durability that these sights deliver. When paired together, they provide very low profile flip up sights that are quickly engaged and locked in place. A simple press pin releases the lock and the sights fold down. Very durable aircraft aluminum construction , easy to install, accurate and plenty of windage and elevation adjustment. Holds zero very well and are very accurate. Running about a 1 1/2" groups with shelf ammo at 100yard zero with my aging eyes. Not bad at all! The MNT-955 Rear sight has a dual aperture rotating ring that can be easily adjusted for both close in and away yardages. Windage is adjusted by hand and holds its mark. The MNT-755 Front sight is adjustable for elevation but a tool, not included, is required to adjust the front sight post. You can customize a tool or buy one for under $10. Both sights come with a Allen wrench for mounting. I painted the front post white to help my aging eyesight. May have to find some glow orange paint soon as I'm not getting any younger. At least not yet! Only issue with these sights is the plastic ball bearing swivel which can be swapped out with a metal one for durability. The plastic ball bearing ensures a solid lock-up without any sight tower wobble. I paired these sights with a Vortex Strikefire II Red/Green dot optic and realized a 1/3 lower co-witness view with the UTG sights. (UTG sights are visible in the bottom 1/3 section of the field of view when looking thru the optic.) Excellent combo and you might want to try the 36/300 yard zero with the 25yard adjusted zero targets for the 5.5" center mass strike zone out to 300 yards. Very impressive and might just become your favorite zero yardage? Most shooting ranges accommodate the 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard pins so the 25 yard adjusted zero targets gives you the 25 yard point of aim zero and a 36 yard point of impact zero so you can easily adjust for a 36yard point of impact zero when shooting at the 25 yard pin. Not many ranges offer a 36 yard pin so I hope that makes sense for you? Check out Vigilance Elite and ARMA Dynamics for printable targets with caliber details for your shooting range. Watch Shawn Ryan's 36yard zero video and you'll get the picture real quick. Thank you for your service Mr. Ryan! Very impressed with the quality, durability, ease of use/installation, and value that these UTG Super Slim Flip up sights deliver. Might just be the BEST Value/Quality Backup Sights on the Market today? Drink Up me Hearties! YoHo!

Solid and functional BUIS
This aluminum front Back-up Iron Sight (BUIS) is solidly built and a nice-looking sight. I have a front and back set on an AR-9 pistol I recently built. I've only ever bought Magpul BUIS and they are good...but honestly, I like these much better. For one, they're made of aluminum and not polymer like the Magpuls. Secondly, they're half the price of the Magpuls. If they would come in FDE, I'd buy a set of those as well. You have to manually deploy them but they lock in place without any wiggle or looseness. To lower them, you just press the little button on the side and push em back down. They don't move. The rear sights function the same way. Leapers/UTG products get a bad rap but I have a handful of their products including front and rear BUIS, a 15" thin rail, a 4X16 scope and cantilever rings, pistol light, lasers and misc. AR accessories. With the exception of the lasers, I'm happy with everything else I've bought with their name attached. If/when I build up another AR, I'll definitely buy another set of UTG BUIS.

Seems well made for the price!
Haven’t put it on my rifle yet, seem solid and well made for the price, not wobbly or loose at all but time will tell, I might try replacing the nylon detent ball that the sight pivots on with a steel one if it gets worn loose, but so far I’m very happy with what I got!

Very nice build quality
I have one other utg product and have been very happy with it. These are of the better price points so I figured I'd give it a try. Haven't used my broomstick with them yet but have mounted them. For the apparent quality and price I would take these over magpul or any other product.
