Good size, nice smooth wood surface but the lid is really tricky to move up and down plus it does not tilt. This is not a reason not to buy this particular sandpit because other brands of the same style are also very awkward to adjust. It does need a rain cover to keep the sand dry over winter; the bottom will absorb water if standing on paving slabs. I shall put mine on a pallet when I refill it this Summer to avoid this. Overall I am very happy with this sandpit as it is a good size, provides a bit of shade, not plastic and fairly robust and well made by modern standards. Good value for money.

We’ve had the product a few months now and the kids love it. It was really easy to put together, can easily be done by one person alone. The wood isn’t the strongest but it’s durable. I loved that it was pretreated, saved me from having to apply a protective coat. The sunshade/box cover is a great feature to the sandbox, especially when you have pesky cats in the neighbourhood and of course to protect from wet weather. The layer that sits inside the box to hold the sand was the one reason i went for this; means that sand doesn’t seep through any gaps from the sides. We put in about 15kg of sand (three bags). We actually received the box with one part broken, informed the supplier right away - they responded that very day and had a spare part sent in the post asap. Great customer services, even gave us a 10% voucher for our next purchase! The only downside with the product that we have found is when sliding the sunshade up and down through the slots - this could be made smoother. It usually becomes imbalanced and stuck in the wood, then there’s the fear of snapping the side posts. Otherwise…great buy!

Grandkids love playing in this sandpit. I do find it very difficult to pull top up on my own needs to people but quality is good and plenty of room for 3-4 kids would recommend

Kids love it, easy to put together and simple instructions to follow. Lid is a little tricky to lift up and down on own but otherwise good value for money and stops animals going in the sand

This is a really nice sand pit but the only issue I have with it is pulling the lid up and down :( It's such a hassle.

The reason for the 2 stars is some of the wood is the wrong size the 2 little pieces that hold the sides togeather was to big and the screw holes in the wrong place so had to make my own screw holes then the 2 side supports for the lid the screws holes in them are in the wrong place so had to make my own with a drill and also into the frame had to cut wood to correct size and then there pre drilled holes were in the wrong place I would say 30% of them was in the correct place so really not happy about that lucky I am handy and made it work and fully set it up and if all them problems was not there it would of been a 5 star as its really strong and good quality kids love it so much and I carnt get them in the house now but overall a really good product just hope my one was a bad batch was quite easy to assemble

Ce Bac à sable est joli esthétiquement. Le bois a été recouvert d'un vernis marine par nous même. Voilà quelques mois qu'il est installé à l'extérieur et le bois n'a pas bougé, ni les bâches.
