What a great idea! At first I was excited to get this filter but then I was frustrated thinking it would fit my drain because I couldn’t get the old white thing out of my shower. Then I asked my husband if he would try. YEAH 👍🏻 It just needed more muscle to pull the disgusting thing out. The new filter just sits over the hole so, it’s a piece of cake to install. The best part is how well it works and extremely easy to clean. I have mid-back length hair and a long haired dog that we shower in there and after getting our you just pull up the little black rubber plug & there’s a tidy little ring of hair to throw away. Clean once a week no problems nor clogging drain!

Nice shower drain cover! It fit without any problem and catches hair much better than the standard plastic drain cover I had. This one is stainless steel, making it easier to clean, stay clean, and last longer. ShowerShroom may have perfected how removable drain covers work. I was having trouble with drain blockage from my family's long hair, requiring frequent Drano and plunger sessions. Since I started using this ShowerShroom, all I need to do is lift it out, tap it into the trash bin, and move on. The item presents well, functions even better, and is made of materials that give me confidence it'll last a long time. For the price, I feel like I got a good deal.

We bought this specifically for when we bathe our two Golden Retrievers in our walk-in shower. My fault for misunderstanding the concept - I did not realize that this requires you to remove the existing drain, which we did not want to do. However, we found that it still works for our purpose by simply turning it upside down ("hump up") and placing it over the drain during the shower. Water drains quickly, and it catches an amazing amount of hair, which is easily removed afterward.

This little drain protector has completely stopped hair from clogging my shower. It sits neatly inside the drain, catches everything, and is easy to pop out and wipe clean. No more standing water or reaching for the drain snake. It's practically invisible once installed. A simple product that solves an annoying problem perfectly.

I consider this to be the most ingenious invention in 100 years! 10 stars! Take off the drain cover you have & simply place this on the opening. You won't believe how much stuff it collects! Extremely easy to clean also. Buy it!!!

It works to catch hair and holds it in a recess in the center of the protector. In the recess is a cap that allows you to easily lift to remove captured hair or debris. Solidly made, should last many years. Barely sticks out from shower floor. Stepping on it is not a problem for either bottom of feet or the protector.

I am not an expert on showers or plumbing by any means, but I am quite sure that the shower drain in my apartment is above average size. This has made it super difficult to find a drain catcher/strainer that fits nicely and prevents my very long hair from going down the drain and clogging it. Unfortunately, this shower shroom is just too small for my drain- it does not stay put nor prevents hair and other items to pass under the sides of it. While it helps a little bit in filtering large items, I find myself getting more annoyed with the upkeep of hair removal from my drain, which is the point of my purchase of this product. Again, it very well could be just a flaw in the design of the shower, but I do wish this product was a bit more useful; I had high hopes for this one as I swear by other Shroom products.

This item does its job, just as described: it fits perfectly and captures all hair in a swirl around the plastic center, while the water has plenty of holes to run away. I'm 100% satisfied (am even considering to buy a spare one).

We just moved into a new house and the old shower drain was on the side by the sink. When we put it back in the water didn’t drain too we’ll see we bought this product. Absolutely brilliant. Very good at trapping hair and easy to clean. Fitted like a dream and it allows the water to flow easily. Would recommend
