Vanilla Extract

This vanilla extract is excellent quality and has a really nice, natural flavour. I’ve mainly used it for baking and making ice cream, and it adds a lovely depth without tasting artificial or overpowering. You can tell it’s made from good quality vanilla beans. Bottle glass is thick so unlikely to break or leak. The bottle is a good size and a little goes a long way, so it should last a long time. For the price, the value for money is very good considering the quality. A great vanilla extract that I’d happily keep using.

A repeat order, great pure flavour

.....have noticed a change in the taste. I've been buying this, the powder, paste and pods on and off for since 2020, including via subscribe & save which I recently renewed. It has a lovely pure vanilla taste but I feel it is now weaker. Also note that the alcohol % isn't mentioned. Others at least state the 35% ethanol content in the ingredients list. Someone else pointed out the bean paste ingredients list on the jar differs from the listing on Amazon. I have queried this with Amazon and hope these things get put right because I do think this is one of the best in terms of the purity of the vanilla taste, but the ingredients surely must be transparent?

Great produce arrive promptly

Delicious. I use a drop or two in my apple and cinnamon tea, which elevates the flavour massively. I would prefer a dropper so I can control the amount; you have to have a steady hand to deliver a drop or two on a teaspoon. But that's nothing to do with the taste and flavour, which is excellent.

strong flavour

I will start this review by saying I do use another product from this company which is great, so just want to be honest. This product does not taste of vanilla, it's just a brown liquid. I put some in my yoghurt and it just did not taste of vanilla, I put more and more in, then it just had a vile chemical taste that was disgusting. I threw away the yoghurt as it was not inedible in any way. I am not sure what the liquid is that holds the vanilla (although it does not taste of vanilla) but it smells like alcohol. All in all, a vile and disgusting product - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Vanilla extract ? really ? This is the worst vanilla extract i have ever tasted. I have been working as a chef in many restaurants so i know what i am talking about. It taste like just a hint of Vanilla and the major flavour is water and a lot of alcohol. it feels like 5% Vanilla diluted with 95% Alcohol and water. I am very disappointed.

Da un gusto potente a vainilla y a su vez riquísimo. No es lo mismo que escencia de vainilla así que no confundan y no lo compren para poner las mismas cantidades que con el vainilla que compran en un supermercado, este al ser mucho más puro necesita usarse en cantidades menores para un buen resultado, que también es lo bueno porque terminas ahorrando!
