I bought these because I am a tax accountant. My co workers were talking about the blue light emitted from our computer screens. I will say that my eyes are less strained and I sleep better at night. I highly recommend.

For my work, I stare at a computer monitor between 6 and 8 hours a day. About a year or so ago, I started to worry that I might be going blind. I constantly needed eye drops, and I developed a chronic pain behind my right eye. My eye doctor said I might be diabetic, but my blood tests did not confirm that diagnosis. By chance, I ran across an article about blue light waves emitted from computer monitors, and how they may affect a person's vision and contribute to macular degeneration. A search on Amazon brought up this particular screen and I bought one, not expecting much but intrigued by the great reviews. The relief I felt, when looking at my monitor after installing this screen, was tangible and immediate. Since that time, I have not felt the need to use eye drops, and the pain behind my right eye vanished almost overnight. Some people may be more sensitive to blue light waves than others, but if you have any concern about eye health or eye strain, this screen is worth a try. I bought a second screen for my second monitor. Installation was simple and almost non-existent. The screen has a generous lip, and the user only needs to hang the screen by its lip over the top edge of the monitor. The screen does generate a glare at times, but this is a small price to pay for the immense relief given to my eyes. Five Stars and Two Thumbs Up!

It stops the glare that was hurting my eyes causing eye strain, I work for many hours on my laptop sometimes well into the evening it blocks the glare a lot and helps to ease eye discomfort. Fits perfectly on my screen horizontally, its an inch longer which is just perfect because it also blocks the glare from my light on my nightstand from where my desk is. I dont see any mirror effect as some say in reviews, but I think it has a lot to do with how the light from the windows may be reflecting off of their screens/position of their computer screens relative to light bouncing off of their screens causing that "mirror effect".

I am really needing protection from blue light and have two 27" monitors that I work with daily. So when I saw these screen protectors and saw that they hung over the monitors, this was the best, non-permanent protection. They both came beautifully packed and protected, complete with larger bumpers that were for the hanging portion of the screen and smaller bumpers that were for keeping the screen protectors from laying directly on the monitor screens. They also came with a large 8"x8" polishing cloth, which will be needed, certainly. These feel well-made. Too early to say if they protect me from blue light since I just installed them (update later) but they are one thing: shiny. I can now see myself all the time when I look at them. The only thing to do is turn off the lights that cause that reflection and I am OK. But this is disappointing enough (especially for the cost) that I took off a star for the increase in the glare. The monitor screens themselves all have a matte finish and I'm OK with the workaround but would have preferred a non/less-reflective surface.

I have an LG 27" 4K monitor (which I love), but for the online meeting world we now live in, the light output from the monitor totally 'washed me out' from a lighting perspective when my webcam was on. Now, the lighting is perfect - I can even use the light ring on my Razer Kiyo webcam (another product that I can highly recommend)! Now all I have left to add to complete my 'home streaming studio' (for beginners) is the FIFINE Studio Condenser USB Microphone I just ordered on Amazon. btw, the shield rests flat against my monitor since the monitor is quite thin and has a very narrow and flat bezel. Also, I don't understand the complaints about the 'glossy finish' or 'glare'. Any 'glare' is likely coming from a light source in your room or through a window - I have Zero 'glare' issues.

I was getting massive headaches and burning eyes. Since I look at an LED monitor all day I did some research and found out that blue light goes straight to the back of your eyes. Blue light waves are the among the shortest, highest energy wavelengths in the visible light spectrum. Because they are shorter, they flicker at a really high rate. This kind of flickering creates eyestrain, headaches, physical and mental fatigue caused by many hours sitting in front of a computer screen or other electronic device. The moment I put this glass over my monitor I felt the difference. My eyes were relaxed and everything on the screen was is sharp focus. I bought another for my home computer. My headaches are gone and my eyes don't burn anymore. Thank you Accurate Films !!!

Had eye surgery and the glare of my screen was driving me nuts. This screen protector is so great. LOVE IT!

Purchased one for my computer, and then another for my small tv in the bedroom. Cuts the glare from both devices and is much easier on my eyes. Delivered in no time - very pleased with the purchase.

It Doesn’t fit properly in the newer thinner model Macs , pushed down the screen in the new Mac because is heavy . I was hoping for a sticker kind of blue light protector like the one for the IPhones
