Having so much fun with all the recipes. Love that there are recipes for all meals; including dessert recipes! Most recipes have normal household ingredients so don't have to make special trips to the store.

Love this cookbook! Has so many recipes that are easy to follow. I bought this to start making different new meals and some of these recipes are becoming staples in our house already! A lot of the recipes are made up of ingredients we already have in our kitchen which makes it easy. Would definitely recommend if you want to try new slow cooker recipes and don’t know where to start. It’s a lot easier to follow a book than a recipe on your phone.

This book was much larger than I had expected. It’s beautiful and full of fantastic recipes! The only complaint I have is that who ever packed it just jammed the book into the box, tearing the book cover in three places. We just bought a crockpot for our daughter, and we are excited to give her this cook book! I just may have to barrow it from her! We have ONLY had crockpots for years! They are the best!

If you cook in a crockpot but aren't exactly a chef, this is a big help. Lots of ideas. Very good item.

My mom has always cooked for my dad (they're in their 70s) but due to some medical issues she hasn't been able to. Once, back before they were retired, my dad asked me for an easy slowcooker recipe that he could make for mom while she was at work. I gave him once for Pot Roast, and he loved how easy it was. Mom isn't able to cook very often, if at all, so I bought this book for dad for Christmas. It has a nice variety of recipes in pretty large print, and I know he'll appreciate this new cookbook full of things that are easy for him to make for himself and for mom.

Correct book, condition as promised, delivered when expected

If you're getting into slow cooking because you hate cooking and don't have a lot of money, don't get this book. The reason I bought a crock pot is because I hate cooking and I don't want to put the effort in. I think most people would agree that that is the beauty of crock pot cooking: put it on, let it cook, eat, easy clean up. This book has very little in the way of easy recipes. To be fair, no where on the book does it say that the recipes are easy, but I mean, come on, right? I've flipped through it a dozen times and although there is a lot of stuff in it I want to eat, there is pretty much nothing in it that I want to cook. Everything either require's too many ingredients that I don't keep or requires too much effort and defeats the entire purpose of a crock pot. That said, the book itself is very nice, the recipes are written well and the pictures are nice and glossy. It's easy to understand and it's got a really handy metric conversion chart, which I will probably end up using more than the actual book.

Lovely recipes

I am so pleased that I ordered the Crockpot Recipe Collection. Why? Because I have been cooking for my elder mother and I just got too tired of spending a lot of time by stove leaving little time for myself; or frankly I would be too exhausted. Our tradition is that all our meals are fresh and homemade. I’ve used a crockpot before but had it hidden in the back of the cupboard. The most reason that I am very pleased is that there are a variety of recipes requiring maybe 2 or 3 main ingredients, and then the seasonings which I always have. These are basic recipes; many chili dishes, but also the most important is that my 97 year old mother will enjoy these hearty meals. As I mentioned earlier the recipes are basic; nothing of your present day cuisine. There’s everything from cereals to main entrees to simple for desserts - all very nutritious - having the right amount of calories. Don’t want anything that is rich & heavy. How I wished that I would have pulled the crockpot out much earlier. This is an excellent cookbook, especially so for preparing meals for the elderly; you have your protein, vegetables and rice, potatoes all served together with delicious sauces or gravies. Just add some salad, fresh tomatoes or cucumbers.

I am so glad I bought this book thankfully ignoring the negative reviews which I don’t understand,the majority of ingredients if not all are available here in the uk or can be substituted if need be and as for the moans about the American measurements in recipes,these are done in cups and pounds.What is so hard about that?UK scales are in pounds as well as metric and as for the cups ,a set of measuring cups are available cheaply in supermarkets or online.I like the American way of measuring,it’s easier,you don’t have to faff with scales. I recommend this book wholeheartedly if you have a crockpot,recipes look fantastic.

This has wonderful slow cooker recipes. Presently it is the soups and stews that are my interest. Really awesome, thank you!
