This is a great product especially for us elderly folk who have problems with elimination due to sedentary lifestyles, and can no longer digest dairy or wheat products. I was looking at having to have a colostomy put in. A Naturopathic Dr. suggested these Magnesium supplements, along with Epsom salt foot soaks, massaging castor oil into the belly-abdomen areas and coffee enemas. We interchange the coffee enemas sometimes with castile soap, or olive oil enemas. It took a few treatments like this, but after several days I saw great results, and feel so much better. Oh, and he did suggest getting sun every day if it is at all possible for a mental boost as well as the vitamin D. I sincerely hope this tidbit of information alleviates this problem for anyone who is suffering with this.

I play a LOT of tennis and after a day on the court I need some electrolyte replacements, especially before I go to bed. I always take magnesium in some form (except oxide - the worst form) to help me relax, keep my heart rate even, and to keep restless leg syndrome at bay. I usually take 4 capsules at one time about 30 minutes before bedtime but I've noticed that I still get a little bit of restless leg syndrome. If I take more I get the squirts in the morning and it has to be from the magnesium. I'm just not sure about this kind or is it mixed with some magnesium oxide which basically goes straight on through without doing much good at all. I don't know, but I probably won't be buying this type again. I'm going back to magnesium glycinate when this bag is empty.
