Excellent shaving soap. Builds a thick, creamy lather fast (see photo) with a dense, slick feel that gives outstanding cushion and razor glide. I won't kid you; this is the best shave soap I have ever used. The aroma is divine, it has a quick rich lather, and it hits the sweet spot of quality and cost.

I have been buying trying quite a few shaving soaps. They all seem to have a drawback, so it's more about if you can tolerate what you like the least. I bought expensive soaps and cheap soaps. Gentlemen Jon's is about the the BEST I have found at an affordable price point. 1) Lather: GREAT! 2) Time to work up lather: Very good. Does not take a lot of time for a good lather. 3) Scent: It's ok, not my favorite, but could be great for others appreciating it. 4) Lubricity: Very good! This soap does not go dry on your face and gives you a good shave. 5) Lasts long: Not very long. I find that to be the biggest downside is that it does not last long in the soap mug. RESULTS: The best buy for the money and a very consistent and quality shaving soap. My new favorite and I will keep stocked up on this.

Best shave soap I've used. Quick to lather and it stays lathered on the face. Clean smooth shave no irritation or bumps. Great fragrance too.

I used to use Williams Mug Shaving Soap, but since that is no longer available, I had to find another option. I like this. It is simple, provides enough lather, but not too much (I don't want / need something like a foam lather). The smell is good without being overpowering. I will probably buy again when I need some, but I expect this will last me close to a year.

This is the only shaving soap my husband uses, he likes the lather and smell.

first time trying this soap and i am very pleased ith it , it makes great lather in seconds and it smells nice too , this puck will last a long time , i will definatly buy it again

I ordered this as I fancied a change from the Arko shave soap that I have been using for the past 2 years. This soap has a lovely scent to it (much better than Arko), lathers up nice and easily and is just a joy to shave with. It seems as though it will last a long time as I hardly dented the puck this morning. Can highly recommend

Nice handy product, does need a shaving bowl for storage. But very nice smelling soap

It took my skin four days to recover from using this shaving soap if you have sensitive skin avoid this product! on the plus side I have a nice scented shower soap now.
