I've been through so many cheaper cases, each time trying to convince myself that this one is going to be, well, maybe not quite as good as a B&R but close enough. I was wrong. Sometimes you just have to spend the money to get the quality. The lifetime guarantee is also a big plus. Plusses - the flat internal base (telescopic handle is on the outside) makes it really easy to pack and stops clothes from scrunching up; wheels are really smooth and solid - walked around Boston for a day with it without any issues; it looks smart and modern, unlike some of the other B&R bags; zips are strong; each pocket is really well thought through and serves its purpose. Negatives - besides the price, none. And besides black, the other colours are old fashioned. There's no lock on it (although you can add a padlock) which I thought would be an issue but actually it's always with me, so not really a problem. It expands by 3 cms all the way round which does add a surprising amount of capacity. Better than Samsonite, not as blingy as a Tumi, more understated than Rimowa. Just the best bags you can buy.

This is the only cry on suitcase you need. It has traveled to 5 countries in three weeks and endured multiple means of transportation as wells as the miles. Complies with the limitations of the new regulations and is perfect. The wheels rolls so smoothly even when saddled with my hearty carry on backpack. I chose this as the 28 yer old Briggs and Riley has held up so well. Don’t waste your money on the cheaper bags. In the long run this will save you money. With all the added. Pockets it’s easy to stay organized.

This carry on, I hope, is everything that I need to put in the overhead. I researched so many bags. I like soft sided bags as it allows for expansion. It has the outside pockets that are convenient. Delivery was quick and packaged really well. It is made of quality materials and zippers are smooth. It rolls nice and there are packing sleeves in side, that also allow for compression. There are no roller bars on the inside. I like the looks of this bag. I purchased two. I hope it holds up as well as the Eagle Creek bags that I will now retire.

I have the B&R carry on size version of this bag and love it. I fly from a small regional size airport and sometimes am required to gate check my full size carryon. I got this one for shorter trips or trips where I have a tight layover and don’t have time to wait for my bag. If I pack VERY strategically, I can fit 4 days of clothes and pj’s, toiletry bag, and my laptop in this bag. I love how the handle is on the outside of the bag, making it easier to pack. This bag does fit into a CRJ-900 overhead bin when it is not overly stuffed. I had a hard time getting it into the overhead on one flight, but it fit under the seat in front of me just fine! I can see this bag being my regular go to because it makes traveling so much easier.

Very nice. Quality, fabric, zippers seem better than my wife’s Travelpro. I didn’t think I would like the outside pockets, but actually very useful. Only quibble, wheels seem placed a little too close. Suitcase seems like it might tip over, as compared to same size travel pro, especially if heavier items packed toward top. However on first trip it rolled smoothly and did not tip.

You won’t regret the $$$ price tag. So smooth and surprising how much fits in this bag.

Superb carry-on bag. This bag has more pockets than any other bag I have seen. I thought my last carry-on had a good amount of pockets, but nothing like this one. The quality of the construction is outstanding and in a few weeks I am going to put it through the travel test. I have never used a 4 wheel roller bag before so this next trip should be interesting.

Zippers are fantastic. Handle feels very stable. The lack of stars are due to the fact that when I opened the box, the luggage inside anyone can see that was not brand new. The bag that incases the luggage was not wrapped all the way (luggage was halfway wrapped with the plastic bag), the wheels & sides has been tested. Doesn't the luggage supposed to come with a strap? Because it's not in the bag. I'm very disappointed with having to pay for an expensive already returned from someone else. If that's what I wanted, I would have opten on buying a used one for a lesser price.

Excellent carry-on. Best I have ever owned. You pay more than for the cheap and cheerful Samsonites and so on, but what you get in terms of build quality, functionality and thoughtful design ( not to mention lifetime guarantee) is totally worthwhile

Solid construction, regret that it is not the Olive colour of my previous orders but close enough. The spinner could not completely fit under the seat in front of me on a recent trip so it had to be placed in an overhead locker several rows behind me - 3rd world problem, I know, but it caused a ruckus when I tried to retrieve it with the masses trying to spill off the plane. Admit that that is not a comment on the quality of the bag itself but more a comment on an item that claims to be able to fit under passenger seats (which is why I purchased it). So, meh..

Briggs&Riley ist einfach top. Habe diesen Koffer in zwei Größen und Farben. Beide sind super. Durchdacht, rollen leicht und sehen super aus. Die Garantie ist der absolute GAMECHANGER! Nie wieder was anderes. Preis/Leistung ist absolut korrekt. Sollte ich jemals einen neuen brauchen: es wird wieder ein Briggs&Riley! Gibt nicht besseres auf dem Markt.
