This monitor light bar has been a nice addition to my setup. I haven’t really had eye strain with or without it, but I really like the clean look it adds to my desk. I mostly use it at night, but it’s also useful during the day when I’m writing on paper. The brightness works well in both situations, and I like that I can adjust the light temperature depending on what I need. It’s simple, functional, and makes the setup look better overall. A solid choice if you want better lighting without taking up desk space.

This is the best purchase for a home office. I spend 8 to 10 hours a day at my computer, many times analyzing data. Eye strain is real. I tried several desk lamps, better lighting, etc before stumbling on this. It puts the light right where you need it! So many choices for you to settle into the perfect light for you. Brightness and levels of warmth can be changed. It automatically goes off when I shut down my computer and on when I restart. It works seamless for me. I have had it for a month now and my headaches from eye strain are gone.

For the price, you really get that bang for your buck. The quality of the lamp itself feels much better than expected, and the remote is actually pretty sleek. The light isn’t very heavy, but it’s also not so light that if you were to knock your desk/monitor, it would fall down. It definitely is nice and secure on top of my monitor. The instructions are very simple and straightforward, and it took me about 5 minutes to have everything up and running. I never knew what a monitor lamp even was less than a week ago, but I sure am glad I discovered them. Side note, but my personal favorite is the warm lighting, feels the best for my eyes personally.

I think this light was 100% worth it. I was looking for something better than the entry-level $20-$30 lights as i'm usually working late into the nights and needed something to reduce eye strain given that my room doesnt have the best lighting. I usually stay on the warmer tones at night, and have the white light on during the day on a cloudy day. The setup up was really easy, and my second favorite part is the light control that I can set on my desk. Its super sleek, and simple to understand, and ultimately has been very reliable for the month that i've had it so far. Would recommend.

TLDR; - Great product that does what it says it will. - Well built, feels heavy and premium. - Causes some glare on glossy objects on my desk. - Buy it now before the price increases if you're shopping for one of these lamps. This light bar does the job; one of those things you didn't know you needed until you got it. It cost $40 instead of $200. The build quality is excellent. The lamp is aluminum with touch controls and a light sensor. The mount is a sturdy plastic. The unit feels solid and well-built, heavy even. The controls and light sensor mean I don't need a hockey puck or awkward cable controls on my desk. I'm grateful for that because I dislike the clutter of those options. My webcam mounts on top of the lamp in the center. So, there was no problem there. The only downsides I have encountered are slight flickering and a few glares. The lamp will sometimes flicker while I'm at my desk. It's slight but annoying. The flicker is subtle. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first. Not a deal breaker at all, of course. As for the glare, well, there's not much of a glare on the screen (Asus ProArt 32). It's very slight but noticeable. Again, not a deal breaker. If anything, it showed me I needed to dust my screen off. The glare on my iPad screen while I draw or on books with glossy pages is real and causes me to reposition them. There are no shadows from my head or hand as there would be with my overhead light or a desk lamp. But the light source is so close and bright, even on lower settings, to glare on glossy things. This is alright, of course. It doesn't get in the way of reading, and the iPad screen gets brighter, but it's something to know. You'll be fine if you use regular paper, a moleskin, or something. If you don't use paper or books in your day-to-day work, this lamp will cause no problems. In conclusion, I'd rebuy it. It's a solid lamp and does what it says. It's worth the $40. Get it now before the price goes up.

Good monitor lamp

Franchement, très bonne surprise. La lumière est douce, bien répartie et n’éblouit pas l’écran. Le réglage automatique est pratique et la télécommande est vraiment un plus. Facile à installer et très discrète sur l'écran. Je ne pourrais plus m’en passer, je recommande.

This thing changed my life. I am facing a window when working on my screen, and had to blind one half of the window. But then I could not read the papers and had to keep the light on in the room, ... which in turn created shadows and shining. This device solved it all. The screen is perfectly readable, and my papers are perfectly readable. It adjusts itself depending on the lighting and can be adjusted from cold to warm wihite. The brightness is also steplessly adjustable. A pure wonder, a serious power saving for the light in the room, and far less strain on my eyes..

Lámpara para monitor de muy buen calidad, llevo 4 meses con ella y no he tenido ningún problema, desde que la tengo mi vista se cansa mucho menos y no he tenido dolor en los ojos la luz nunca llega a ser incómoda para jugar o hacer otra actividad, la recomiendo demasiado. También me ha servido para estudiar y hacer tareas. Pd: las 2 pilas que vienen con el control remoto aún no se me acaban, si te duran muchísimos meses.
