Does the head torch have two 2200mah li-polymer batters?

In the description it says . "High quality 2200mAh Li-polymer battery supports 4-4.5 hours fast charge which provides for 7-8 hours using time." There are two of them. I've personally never seen this size of battery before.

would this work under a cycle helmet

I have just tried it under my husband’s helmet and yes but the helmet is big for me. Much better over it but with the light part down on your forehead. The beam is superb and the battery last about 6 hrs before I need to recharge it. Hope this helps

The lights are flashing in a random sequence, cant seem to turn it off, have removed batteries and tried again. Random flashing lights starts again.

The on off button on the top of the head torch allows different settings, you have to press the button several times to get the required setting you want. If that doesn't work then it must be faulty.

What does it mean when the main red light stays on and you can't turn it off at all ?

When its new and you plug it into the charger, you can press the button to cycle through the white lights but when it gets to red then it stays on red and you cant change to white lights or even turn it off. The reason is probably because you haven't opened up the battery compartment and removed the plastic film wrapping covering the batteries. There is a small card insert in the box which tells you to remove the film, but many reasonable people wouldn't read the instructions because its just a torch right, shouldn't need instructions for that?
