A Lifesaver After Being Sent the Wrong Product Multiple Times Be warned: many products are mislabeled as "Alum Powder" but are not the potassium aluminum sulfate needed for crystal growing. I learned this the hard way after three failed and non-returnable (alum = food product) orders. This Jacquard Alum Powder, however, is absolutely correct. The proof was in the dissolving. Unlike the others that did not dissolve, no matter what I tried, this melted completely into hot water to form a crystal-clear supersaturated solution. Arrived 1 day before first estimation, not bad. On line tracking I would say next to useless. Used the product to remove a broken drill out of copper bar. Worked perfectly. Excellent stuff. Will remember for next time. 👍
