Great load bar for a pickup truck
This load bar works well enough that I bought another one for my truck! It’s easy to use and will hold plenty of weight from sliding in the bed of a truck! They seem to stay in place with no issue as long as you make sure to secure them tight enough. They will bend if you do not get them tightly against your load and make sure they are secure, just follow some simple common sense and you won’t have any issues

Extensible strut.
Absolutely brilliant. I own a VW pop-top Eurovan camper in which raising the top was very difficult, requiring a good deal of effort and frustration. Tried to improvise a strut that could be pushed with a small jack but failed. The strut from Amazon is lightweight and very easy to operate. Positioning is very easy with the non slip swivel rubber pads which do no harm the surfaces. Stowing the strut is very easy to keep it handy for the next time you need it. A must have for any pop-top camper, certainly for VW’s.

The ratcheting mechanism is not as smooth as I was expecting. It will be adequate for restraining lighter loads.
