Had an issue with the length of tube that the manufacturer replaced for free promptly!!!

I used mostly for hip after surgery. It covered area and was comfortable to use with the Polar Active Ice Cold Therapy system. Also used on low back. I would highly recommend.

The Polar Active Ice products are awesome. I used the knee pad when I had total knee replacement shoulder. Also used the shoulder pad both times I had shoulder surgery (in different years). And, used the hip pad for total hip replacement. Anticipating back surgery soon, so I'm prepared since I now have the back pad. So, I think I can give a great review of these products. The ice therapy is the way to go with any of these surgeries and is very easy to use. I use the ice therapy in conjunction with prescribed pain medications to manage the post op pain. Buy any of these products if you are having surgery!!!

This pad is smaller than a piece of paper, while the "wrap" to secure it is 50 miles long. It is very cumbersome and asymmetrical. Weird design. I purchased the pad as an addition to my purchase of the entire cooling unit with the foot-specific pad so that after my surgery, my husband could use this pad for his back and knee pain. He's not a large man and the pad doesn't cover his lower back at all, it barely covers his knee. The securing belt could easily wrap around my husband's waist twice and you can't trim it down as the velcro is at the very end of the 5 miles of the belt. Probably will return.

I used this for my bicep muscles and tendons, after rotator cuff repair surgery, its a little to wide for wrapping around the arm, but its doable with a little adjustment. Really works great for reducing pain and swelling, I would recommend this product...

UPDATE: Amazon allowed me to return this and refunded my money. I emailed the legitimate manufacturer, Polar Products and sent the photos. They think Amazon pulled and shipped the wrong product as the company states they do NOT use the ridged connectors. Check your connectors immediately on receipt so you can return within the allowed period if there is a problem. The ends on this Extended Coverage Hip Cold Therapy Pad (#HP) are different than every other pad attachment I have. What i received has a ridge on both male connectors which prevents the connections from locking in and clicking. On connectors on the top are on this Polar Products Active Ice Hip Extended Coverage Therapy pad 12.5” x 22.5” with Two Detached Belts (#HP) The connectors on the bottom are on the Polar Active Ice® Back Therapy pad 12” x 8.5” with Attached Belt (#LB). Why would they change the male connectors on the #HP? This is unusable for me. The second pic shows the #LB locked into my machine. The last pic is just the sticker from my machine

I love the polar ice machine and used their knee pad for my knee replacement. Bought this pad for my hip replacement but it is awkward to use for that. The wrap with Velcro that holds the pad in place is way too long and the tubing got in the way as well. I never could figure it out. Hip replacements are tough places as it is and I ended up just using ice packs. I do think it would be helpful for back problems but not hips.
