I have tried many types of carpet treads in my home and these carpet treads are the best I've purchsed. The carpet is thick and soft. They were easy to install and stay in place. They vacuum well. I use a hand vac. Great, srurdy, plush and the quality made this well worth the cost. I recommend

Okay so I purchased these for my grandkids there twins and they like going up a down the stairs the only thing was i didn’t have carpet. I had it Removed a couple of years before they were born , however at home they are leaning to go up and downstairs. And I didn’t want carpet so I saw these bull nose stairs proctectors . So that’s they can travel on the stairs without getting hurt, now the funny thing is ,I for got I bought them around that holiday time, will I found them and there fantastic soft plush easy to apply , look l like them for me , so I can honestly said they work and feel great , the cover at least I would say 85% of my staircase. So if you decide to purchase these you’ll love , give them a try you have nothing to lose and there worth the price.

My dogs are getting older (and, heck, so am I for that matter). I wanted them to feel safe going up and down the stairs. I purchased these because of the bullnose. Likes: I like that these are fluffy so they offer some grip for their paws. I also like that the bullnose has a slight, hard bump that lets you know you are at the edge of the stair. This is a really nice feature as I'm having a difficult time with depth perception as I get older so the bump let's me know where my foot is on the stair. These were also easier to install then I originally thought (I was over-thinking it). Dislikes: The color. There aren't a lot of options and the brown that I originally ordered was really dark brown so I returned for this "gray/beige" color. Fitting. I thought the bullnose would "wrap" the stair edge. It does not. There is a slight outcrop or bulge (see pictures). I was worried I would catch a toe going up the stairs but it hasn't been a problem. Texture. I was hoping for a loop or short shag "carpet" texture but these are more of a plush or furry texture. I didn't know if they would offer enough grip for my dog's paws but so far not a problem. I measured the stair across and figured out the middle, then found a piece of scrap wood about the right size and used that as a guide for all the stairs to properly align the treads. The plastic removed pretty easily but there is a tag that needs to be removed from each tread. Originally, I had bought carpet tape to help hold the stairs in place. After doing the first stair, cussing, realigning, and finally thinking I would throw these darn things away, I tried the treads without the carpet tape. I cleaned each stair as I went, removing dog hair, dust, etc. so I had a really clean step. Placed the carpet with my little block, and stuck. Done! So easy! The stairs are sticking quite nicely. I've had them down for about a week now and they are still solid. The test: I went up and down the stairs, swishing my feet, trying to move the treads. They did not budge. I brought in my three border collies and had them go up and down. No problem. Even my oldest dog, who for the longest time, would pause at the top of the stair before starting the long trek down, ran down with no issues and now I see her confidently head down the stairs without any pause at the top. In all, I'm very happy with the treads and for the price I paid. I tried three other tread brands, trying to be frugal. They were between $50-$60 for 14 treads. I found these Pure Era treads to be worth the extra money, easy to install, and effective for helping the dogs (and me) go down the stairs safely.

The first thing to say about these soft yet tough treads is that they absolutely do not slide. It takes a little practice to position them on the stairs because, they WILL NOT SLIDE. That’s a good thing! They’re easily lifted off the stairs to position. I recommend marking the stairs with a piece of masking tape where you want the tread edge to be. This will provide a handy temporary guide for installation. Our staircase is a HIGHLY TRAFFICKED area. Since I put them into place several weeks ago, there has been absolutely NO MOVEMENT of any of these treads. AMAZING!

Purchase for all our stairs to protect our toddler and we LOVE IT! Looks great, very soft and stick just enough to the step without damaging the wood. Easy to remove and not slippery! Highly recommend for family with young children! Ordered in dark brown!

These stair treads are perfect so far! So plush first of all! The last ones I had were just flat mats and didn't stay on the stairs and I had to buy tread tape, which made a complete mess and had to be removed with GooGone to get off. These already have adhesive and they took me ten minutes to apply to all the stairs after I cleaned and dried the stairs. Make sure to watch the video on how to place before you start, which makes it easy to start at bullnose part and lay flat. These make it easier for my elderly dog to get up the stairs since they have the bullnose. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And, the price was lower than the ones I bought from a home improvement site and the quality 100 percent better. The smell when they came out of the plastic was off-putting, so I left them in the garage overnight and that took out the smell before putting them on. They no longer smell.

I really wanted a soft carpet for the stairs after my son and I took a fall. These exceeded my expectations! They are soooo soft. It is so nice to walk up. My kids just loved laying on these when we first installed them. I’ve bought several stair treads over the years and this has been my favorite by far. True to color

They are beautiful, so soft for the feet and the right color (Light creamy beige). They stick in place without leaving traces on the wood. You can take them off, put them back on and they stick as well. Its an add to the overall look of the stairs. I am very happy with them. I recommend.

So I should start off with. I didn't keep these. I did return them only because the color was not the color in the picture. Which they did state lighting could distort the color but the quality of the carpet was amazing. It was so comfortable and the way that you util adhere them to. The stairs appeared very simple and straightforward, so I will be repurchasing and attempting to buy another color

So plush, stick to the stairs perfectly. Couldn’t recommend more!
