For example, “Numerator” is broken into two parts: Ator means “one who” and Numer means “enumerates or counts” which means that the numerator is one who counts. 2. Each term is also stylized in full color to show the meaning of the word. 3. Real life stories introduce students to the meaning behind the various steps in fractions which help students remember what to do and why they are doing it. (Thus avoiding the need for memorization of steps). 4. Every lesson has hands-on components before the student ever deals with symbols and puts pencil to paper to solve problems. 5. Models are used consistently so that the student can see what is happening rather than just listening to an explanation of what is happening. 6. Notes to the teacher as well as stories to read make teaching fractions simple for the teacher without having to engage in extensive training ahead of time. You can actually read through the book with your student(s). 7. All activities, worksheets, assessments and answer keys are included. The book is ready to pick up and use. Love these books!
If you have a child or student who struggles in math, this is a great book! There’s not as much color on the pages like in the multiplication/division book but it’s still a great book.

Difficult to Use
For whatever reason this book is very difficult for me to use and understand. Maybe it’s because I’m not right brained. I can’t teach fractions this way. I’ve had to move on to a different curriculum.

Examples of included lessons Right Brain math Fractions
The set we ordered included the multiplication and division cards. It is sold as a set at the Amazon Business page. When I was looking for a new math curriculum for my son, I was frustrated that very few images or examples were available for any right brained math books/cards. I hope these pictures, the table of contents and the appendix, gives the potential buyer a better idea of everything that is covered. I also hope these pictures give an idea of how the lessons are approached.
