Food Network Magazine The Big, Fun Kids Baking Book: 110+ Recipes for Young Bakers (Food Network Magazine's Kids Cookbooks)

This book has some good recipes but many of them have a large number of ingredients and seem too complicated for younger kids just starting to bake. It would be a good cookbook for a teenager. It has a great section showing how to make a cake that looks like something else (like a pencil) but, again, too complicated for a kid.

My eight year old niece is just beginning to learn baking with her mom and this book has simple recipes for her to try.

My niece picked up baking as a little hobby and this was a perfect gift for her. She has already made so many of the recipes in here Very fun.

I bought this for my nephew and I thought this was an amazing book! Loved the photos and all the recipes (took photo of a few before I gave it to him since they all looked good!) Only have this a four star since I think he was hoping for simpler recipes to bake, but if an adult is willing to help and ensure they have all the ingredients, then this is perfect! (Unfortunate my brother is not like this so my nephew has to wait for me to help him bake, but he was super excited to try out all the recipes!)

This book should have the following title: "Making baking easier not only for children but for us, adults, who don't like to make boring adult cakes". After reading a few recipes I think that I would never again try to bake something that is not fun, even if it tastes good. And for kids, this book is gold. We have so much fun in the kitchen and for the first time we made plans for our next baking "session".

Beautifully illustrated recipes for kids. I gave this to my 8 year old niece. She spent hours looking at the pictures and reading the recipes.

Purchased as a gift. Several recipes may be a little challenging but my 10-year-old granddaughter who loves to bake was excited to receive it. She also takes a children's cooking class several times a year. Immediately started going through it and telling her mom the ones she wants to try. There is a section that shows them how to make "cakes" that look like meatballs and other foods. If your child loves to, and bakes already, they would probably enjoy this.

So much fun with the children Hopefully they will be able to look after themselves in the future as so many people cannot follow a recipe.
