We bought a crappy old Maytag dryer off of Craigslist and the lint trap was disgusting. Bought this one to replace it and it was a perfect fit. A lot cheaper than buying one from a home improvement store!

I noticed my dryer have been collecting too much lint even though I have a professional cleaning my dryer vent once a year. It became twice and it means paying twice. My old dryer lint screen have a little hole and I suspect that is why the lint in the back of my dryer is getting full all the time. It skipped from the lint screen. So I looked and was afraid I may not be able to find the right match, considering there's a lot of type of screen in the market. I gave my shot on this one and immediately, I know it is the right match when I received it and compared to my old one. It works great, almost identical to my old one and I noticed my dryer is drying better now. For reference, my dryer is Whirlpool Model WED4815EW1. I am going to order another one for spare because I may not find this again in the future :)

The color is more cream or off white. Not like the original or the last replacement I purchased. Also it’s slightly bigger. It fits fine, just with a little force when pushing it in the dryer.

Old one lasted about 5 years before it started rusting out (the screen). If I get aother 5 years out of this one it will be time for a new drier

This lint screen is the exact measurements for my new Maytag dryer. I pulled up on the original one and it broke. The only difference is this replacement is ivory not white.
