Arrived bent but otherwise a perfect study guide
Item arrived bent in one corner but putting it under something heavy should straighten it out. Otherwise, the amount of information on this study guide is just what I need!

great guide for korean grammar
LOVE that the 3-holed punches aren't impeding the text. I've bought some other laminated guide and some of them, the holes are punched in after the text is added so some of the words and characters are missing, making that portion of the guide useless. but with this Japanese conversation one at least, the text is actually moved to the left or right of the holes so that there is space for the hole and the text is 100% clear to read next to it. Very easy to read and follow, not cluttered. easy to understand. only issue: very small, probably a manufacturing issue. The guide is lopsided/doesnt lay flat. seems like whoever made it, didn't lay it flat when heating the sheet, so the lamination hardened/cooled kind of crooked/lopsided. Doesnt affect the words & characters at all. Just a personal thing, i have to lay it inbetween books and other guides to keep it flat.

So freakin' happy with this!!
I'm self study-Korean and learn best by translating songs, screen captions, etc into English. I run into issues with needing to know more about grammar in order to do this more quickly. I have gotten several different resources to help me, but this is the ONLY item that feels like it has 99% of what I need readily available; most resources want to teach conversational skills first and grammar feels like an afterthought. The front and back cover are shown in the item description but it's the inside that is packed with everything: sentence structure, including both for noun sentences and verb sentences, verb & adjective stems, modifier endings, noun ending particles, auxiliary verbs, sentence endings, this and that, question words, connecting words, comparisons, superlatives and changing verbs to nouns. There are even examples of every grammar item included. The only things I noticed were missing was a description of how bound nouns work and how to add emphasis to a phrase that isn't a superlative, but given the space provided they can't possibly include everything, and the most important and useful items are definitely there!
