Please give an opinion pertaining to level of complexity for solo playability. I am a mid-level experience gamer. Rate 1-5(easy to complex & why?

4. Most of their games have a high number of components that you have to keep track of. The game can easily turn disastrous if you fail or incorrectly play a component. Don’t be surprised at the the number of times you have to go back and reference the instruction book. Some games have two books, a quick startup book and a more comprehensive instruction book. Give one of their games a try. I believe that you will enjoy yourself.

I am wondering if 3rd edition expansions for Arkham Horror work with the 2nd edition base game?
