Purchased this to put husbands oxygen tube through where it comes from the concentrator and lays across the floor so that he is not tripping over tubing in the middle of the night. Perfect for our safety and does what needs to be done. Make sure you use a blow dryer to get it to lay flat as it comes curled up and takes awhile to straighten itself out. Adhesive won't work as well on carpet until flat.

Does the job. Eventually lays flat and keeps cables from being a tripping hazard. A fair amount of cables can simultaneously occupy the channel inside. Has a good weight to it so you can vacuum clean right over it.

Great product that works as advertised - once you get it to uncurl and lie flat on the floor. Taking a cue from a review of a similar product, I soaked the entire (very tightly curled) product in a sink full of HOT water (the hottest I could get out of the sink), making sure the entire thing was covered by water. After about 5 minutes of soaking, I pulled it out - and it was extremely soft and flexible. I dried off most of the water and then laid the product on a towel on the floor, laid another towel on top of it - and then covered the length of the entire product with stacks of books to ensure it got fully flattened out. An hour or so later, I uncovered everything - and it was totally flat (and firm) once again. A little bit of a hassle - but it works like a charm to make it flat as a pancake.

I installed the product about 6-8 months ago. The product came with double sided tape. When I applied it to my laminate flooring, it did a poor job is sticking because the cord hider was curly. It’s been 6/8 months and I had no issues with the cover itself. As I’m now removing it, I realize The tape won’t come off! I’ve used a blow dryer, I’ve used goo-gone, I’ve used a razor blade, and hot water. Nothing is taking this tape off! Don’t use the tape!

I know some reviews mentioned the user was unable to uncurl the cord cover. When mine arrived it was 19 degrees outside so it was pretty cold. I brought the cord cover into the house, unboxed it and placed it next to one of my central heat registers for about a day to warm it up to room temperature. The next day, I removed the twist ties, saving them of course, reverse rolled the cord cover, secured the reversed coil with the twist ties and again placed it next to me central heat registers. After about 4 hours, I removed the ties, unrolled the cord cover and it was fine. Once setup, the cord cover relaxed even more the next day where I was able to flatten it further by walking on it. It's a nice heavy duty item and keeps me from tripping over the network cables running from the bottom of my stars into my dining room! I highly recommend this cord cover!

Used on a hard floor, it would be perfect! It comes with high-quality double-sided tape. I have no doubt it would be perfect on a hard floor. It ships very tightly coiled, and would definitely need the tape to hold it down flat. Not knowing whether or not the tape might damage a carpet, I would not try it on one.
