Works great for flooring projects! Wish the cord was longer but still a good deal for price.

I got this to cut off the edges of some installed trim molding to put in a new floor without removing all the molding around doorways. This tool is amazing. I was able to do what I needed to, but ran into a problem that my doors couldn't clear the new flooring. This tool let me trim off 3/4 of an inch neatly from the bottom of both doors and saved my project! I would say definitely wear ear protection. It's very loud! It makes a mess with saw dust and goes through saw blades quickly, but replacements aren't too expensive. I bought 50 in bulk on Amazon and I think it was about $1 a saw blade. Now an essential, must have tool.

This was my favorite and mostly used cutting tool as a home DIYer. When used with the correct and quality blades, there is a level of precision and control a jigsaw or circular saw does not provide and it doesn't cause the sparks, outrageous dust and dangerous flying debris of an angle grinder. It's easy to use. Changing the blades doesn't take long. The design fits in the hand easily and the weight is reasonable. It is loud on the highest setting. I've used it on wood, drywall, cement board, plastic, PVC and metals. The accessories included work but aren't high quality as expected for it's price. Sadly, I was using the tool yesterday on the heaviest (but not heavy) metal and it slowed then died on me. I've never dropped it. I was heartbroken but immediately just ordered another. I just won't use it on metal if I suspect it's heavy.

I've never owned one of these, so I have no idea if this is a good example of this product other than it seems to work properly. What I do know is this is the handiest little thing I've ever owned. I don't need it much, but when I need it, I NEED IT. I've used it to cut sheetrock, wood, and even trim parts of a vinyl window so I could fit an air conditioner in it that I didn't measure for properly before buying. I've used this thing for maybe 3 or 4 little projects around the house and it's already paid for itself. Get one. And if you're not sure about it, GET THIS ONE for the price. You'll see.

Was installing new hardwood floors. For undercutting doors this tool was worth its weight in gold.

Handy tool. Good quality for the money. Would have got a cordless one if I were to do it again. But I can't hold that against this product, it clearly is not cordless.

I bought and returned this item. Because the item voltage is 110v, if we need to use this need to buy a voltage stepdown device from 220v to 110v. This will make extra cost. Item physically handy and light in weight. We cant use this item because we have 5 technician, need to teach this item cant able to use direct supply.
