The teeth rotate and really make combing difficult hair so much more easy and smooth with minimal hair breakage or loss because hair does not break or pull out. Especially effective with a product like Cowboy Magic (yes, originally I bought for my horses) or Biosilk. Cowboy Magic seems identical to Biosilk to me. It's great great stuff. I have horses and I use this comb on manes and tails. But even better, I use it on my own hair because I bought two when I realized what it was. My hairdresser had originally suggested that I never use a brush on my own hair because it's curly and fine and breaks easily. She always uses a metal-tooth comb with rotating teeth like this, only the one she uses is a little bigger and marketed for humans. But it is the same concept and the only difference is the distance between the teeth and slight difference in length of the teeth. My horses love it. And my dog loved it. I love it. This is the all-around family comb LOL for those with long delicate hair. I cannot say enough about how great these things are. My two cents. It really helps to have a good product to use with it but the comb by itself is also a huge help in the everyday grooming of ourselves and our beloved pets.

Finally found a comb for my Newfoundland that not only works great on her long hair but has a handle with a grip that is padded and comfortable. Highly recommend for people with hand grip or strength issues.

I got this to hopefully help with sticker removal. Today I used it to take out those horrid hounds tongue burs and to my shock they combed right out. The big cockle burs took a little more work but after pulling away the hair that I could, this comb took took them right out. It's a game changer for sure on my BC mix. I think it will work well if used as regular maintenance to keep him from getting matted.

First, I'm not a groomer. Second, this comb is magical. I've got a Great Pyr, mini Aussie and maltipoo (I think lol). This comb is so gentle but effective at breaking up the mats behind their ears, which is where I used to cut/shave off because I didn't want to hurt them. My dogs love getting combed down because it doesn't pinch or pull. Works great from delicate ears to thick hind legs/tail area. Comfortable to hold.

I hated to give this less than 5 stars because it really is a great comb. The rotating teeth do seem to make a big difference and it helps to keep our little maltipoo a lot more toddy than others I've tried. My only reason for the 4 star rating is, actually 2 things... 1. I wish there was an option for shorter teeth since my guy is SO tiny and it can get a bit tiresome for my arthritic hand to keep it where I don't poke him. 2. The teeth tend to rattle and given that he's not the most thrilled when it comes to grooming, the noise tends to get his attention and he wants to nip at it. Aside from those minor issues, this is THE BEST comb I've used so far and will definitely continue using it.

Superb tool! My long hair 13 lb Siberian kitty was getting terrible matts under her arm pits. She would not let me near her tummy. I found a local person who runs a not for profit and she removed all the mats in about 30 seconds or less with this tool with not a peep from my kitty. It was like a magic trick. If I hadn't seen it, I would not have believed it. Yes, this tool is expensive and when it arrived I had serious reservations about the price I paid. But upon one use - well, it became a great investment. My big kitty now allows her mats to be quickly and efficiently removed without any yanking or agony on both our parts. In other words, if you have a sensitive long hair kitty, this is a must have! Btw I used the small furminator brush on her back, tail, and sides. Keeps my gorgeous girl purring.

This comb works very well, and glides through my dogs' fur like no other grooming tool I have ever used, BUT......the second time I used it the black rubber backing came off of it, and pins went flying everywhere. I managed to find all but one, put it back together, and have used it several more times. But the rubber back comes off consistantly, making the pins come out, and I have to continually end grooming time early to go find a magnet to find all the pins before they are stepped on or lost. For the price I paid, I am VERY unhappy with this comb's performance. I give it one star because if it didn't fall apart every five minutes it would be my favorite grooming tool. As it is, it is useless, and I want my money back.

I have a collection of combs for my Persian, this is far better than other similar combs. We're in shed season now and this comb is making it manageable. I bought a 2nd one in case the teeth get bent (rotating teeth that get bent are worse than non-rotating ones). My cat purs when I comb him with this one, all the other combs he runs.

I, unfortunately, have not had a chance to use this yet but am looking forward to my first opportunity. We will be having our Ragdoll kitten come home in the very near future. This comb has come highly recommended to many other Ragdoll cat owners. It is excellent quality. My last comb had a wooden handle which eventually broke so I really like this one.

Now this is a revelation, what a gem. Makes attacking those snaggles and knots do easy. I have a Goldendoodle with a predominantly wool coat. He gets little knots between his front legs where his harness goes. This comb is great at teasing them out, so easy. Occasionally I miss a knot in his 'skirt', where he has hair rather than wool, which leads to a longer knot, this comb sorts it in no time.

Meine Maine Coon sind eigentlich was schwierig beim Kämmen, aber dieser Kamm scheint wenig zu ziepen, kam bisher sehr gut damit durch das Fell. Auch die Unterwolle kann ich damit rausholen, ohne gekratzt zu werden. So wirklich antistatisch ist der Kamm zwar nicht, aber da ich meine zwei Kater damit endlich mal richtig kämmen kann, bin ich sehr zu zufrieden.
