Great for cats too.
This gate is perfect for our kitten, she's 4 months old now and is becoming quite the explorer so this stops her from running down the stairs and out the front door. It's sturdy and the sticky hooks are great. So much better than our previous one without poles. It has a proper gate mechanism aswell so easy to get in and out without faffing about with hooking on and off. I spent ages trying to find one suitable for cats as most of them are designed for dogs/children but this would be great for all, including bunnies if anyone's curious. It fit perfectly as we have a wide hallway but do check the measurements beforehand. Highly recommend.

Useless rubbish
Could even put this together without the mesh splitting as it is so poor quality. The whole thing is a joke and not fit for purpose. As for keeping a dog out, I could see my dog sitting there laughing at me as I put it together. I suppose I can use it to cover to keep the birds off a little piece of recently seeded grass but I am sure hat there are cheaper ways to do that.

Stair gate
I purchased this not to use as a stair gate, but to use as a window screen. 😂I previously had a magnetic screen fitted to my window to prevent my cat from escaping. Then I had new windows fitted & the magnetic screen could no longer be fitted. So I searched for alternatives. I even tried to find a local tradesman to make a bespoke frame with mesh. But they were insanely expensive.Eventually, I found this.It was a bit of a faff to put together. It was ok until I had to put the last rod in, then I had to wrestle with it to get the poles seated on the plastic connectors. The instructions were printed so small that the ink had bled rendering them pretty useless. The parts were all labelled in the instructions, but the design of the labels was supposed to be white writing in a black circle. Due to the ink bleeding, the labels just became black circles. So construction was mostly guesswork, but I got it made eventually. If the seller is also the manufacturer, just write the labels in black ink without the circles. They'll read better that way & eliminate the guesswork!I used the sticky pads to fix the clips to my window frame, as I didn't think my landlord would be impressed if I drilled into the window recess or the brand new window frames. They hold the gate in place very well.I've been able to have my window open without worrying about my cat trying to escape from an upstairs window. And it was £60 cheaper than a carpenter wanted to charge me to fix 4 bits of wood together in a square shape. 😂

Good gate disappointed with adhesive clips though
The gate is good it does what I wanted it to do for now, which was to be able to back door and leave it open and stop my son from falling out the door. My only disappointment was the adhesive clips I purposefully brought the gate for was not the same as the screw in clips. The difference is the screw in clips has a clip to stop a child from opening the gate the adhesive ones do not have that. I would of thought all the clips would be the same. But until my son learns how to open the gate it will do the job.Update: so unless you have the screw in clips to close the gate this gate is useless for children and dogs since both of them have learned to open the gate.

Not very sturdy, frame keeps popping out
Not very sturdy, frame keeps popping out of the top connector because of the weight of the frame pulling it down; it pops out just standing as well as when I go to open it, so I have to keep popping it back on. I can still use it as a gate I guess, it’s just very annoying and frankly I could have had similar functionality with something DIY for a lot cheaper.

Poor quality
Followed all instructions, wall holders did not stick to wall and fell off taking the paint on the walls with them. Then ruined we had wall paint all stuck to wall holder. Not impressed with the product and can’t get in touch with the seller

Amazing but you need a power drill to install
I just got a 12 week old ragdoll and he is getting EVERYWHERE. I was a little nervous as my front door is right on a main road and I live with 3 people so people are coming in and out. This keeps Otis to the top floor where he has a lot of room to run and play, I liked how easy it was to install, however, you will need a power drill to install.
