desertcart.com: Tea Zone Chewy Tapioca Boba - Bag (6 lbs) : Grocery & Gourmet Food Review: Better flavor, better price! - I like TeaZone products I’ve tried in the past but have been using another common desertcart brand of Boba for the 5-minute ‘instant’ boil feature. Having still strived for that perfect restaurant style cup of boba, I decided to try this new variety - plus it was maybe half the cost of the other at the time. This was all the difference! Great flavor, great texture. I don’t have to overdo the brown sugar syrup because they’re already flavored. Pros: Best boba I’ve tried for home. Cons: A little bit fragile / mooshy. I guess that goes along with being fresh and made of starch. Also wet - get some desiccant packs and an airtight container. Also the 30 min cooking time; I tried 20 with my first run and they were too tough still. Just make more of them to compensate for the wait! Review: The Grade A pearls are a definite "go-to" for Boba lovers! - The texture of these pearls... amazing! Perfectly chewy, every single one! They arrived very well packaged and super fresh. Less than 1 tablespoon of crumbs in the entire bag. They are very delicate due to the freshness, but even if they had crumbled a little more, these were totally worth buying because of the simple ingredients. They are not loaded with chemicals like the instant or quick cooking pearls. For perfectly chewy "QQ", sweet bobas, the recipe is below: -Boil 8 cups of water -Add 1 cup boba to the boiling water, stir until floating. -Cover, reduce heat to medium and boil 15 mins. Stir every few minutes. -Drain boba and rinse with HOT water, set aside. -Boil 1 cup dark brown sugar with 1 cup water. -Add hot boba, cover, and boil on medium heat for another 15 mins. Stir to avoid sticking to the pot. -Remove from heat and keep them warm until used. ***Adding cold liquids while hot will ruin these,ot makes them harden very quickly. Make sure to use within 2 hours for best results.

Way too fragile.
This boba is amazing taste wise, but the boba is way too fragile. When it arrived at my step I opened the bag and all I saw was powder with some boba here and there. So I have to sift it and then put it into another container before I make it. Then there was more powder in the container because some were crushed even though I was being careful with it. Overall with this boba you are better off buying tapioca starch and making your own. TL:DR It breaks way too easily and you're better off not buying it.

Buy The Chewy Boba,NOT INSTANT!!!
I initially purchased the 6 lb instant photo from T-Zone because I thought it was what they use at my favorite coffee stand. However as you can see from the photos it arrived in a crumbly mess and was impossible to cook. If you pinched the boba gently it would fall apart into powder between your fingers. I was super disappointed and dealt with Amazon and help for getting a refund because it was such a massive waste of money and product. I am glad that I ordered the chewy regular tapioca because it holds up there's a slight amount of crumbling which you can sift out, you have to cook it for 10 to 15 minutes but it's the boba I was looking for. I'm glad that I got a different style because the instant 10 tapioca pearls are absolutely awful. Don't make the mistake I did, buy the Chewy tapioca Boba and save yourself a lot of heartache!

Great flavor and texture, will buy again
These are better than the quick cooking boba, and more “natural”. They take longer to cook but have much better flavor and texture than the quick cooking bobas. There is some crumbling of the boba in the package but we just handle carefully when storing and scooping out to cook and it’s not too bad. Just know that you will have some powder/crumbles left in bag. Still worth it for better taste and better ingredients.

perfect texture and quick to make
They have the perfect texture and size. The best part would be their smell. They were delivered without any damage. I keep them in an air-tight container. The brand says to use within 3 days of opening, but I don't think it would go bad as long as you keep it in an air-tight container and use it within a few months. They're also fairly quick to make and pretty easy to preserve. For every 1/2 cup of uncooked boba, I boil about 600ml of water. I cook them for about 15 minutes. Then I add about 1tbsp of brown sugar to the drained boba. For one serving of milk tea I would use about 1/4 cup of boba. They may not look like a lot before you cook them but they expand and 1/4-1/2cup is more than enough for one serving of milk tea.

20% of it is crushed into powder
Due to poor quality control, a sizeable portion of it is crushed into powder, does not retain boba shape. Also, this product in particular takes much much longer to cook compared to other instant boba.

Look no further, a Taiwanese family approves its taste and texture.
I am from Taiwan, my kids are used to good bobas. Look no further, these are it. My pics include: empty package, repackage to freeze uncooked bobas, and the cooked product. Bobas can go bad, I choose to freeze batches. Thaw and cook when I These took very little time, about 15min they were cooked through in my taste test. However, I followed the direction to the T and continued to cook it as directed. Chewy texture, good flavor. I did not, like some, receive powdered bobas. There will be some at the bottom, but negligible. Will buy again.

Buenas pero me llegaron condensadas
Lo único que ni me gusta es que hayan llegado con mucha condensación, entiendo que pudo haber sido por el calor de la ciudad
