Simplistic, uncomplicated game that is entertaining.
Fun game, easy to pick right up and play with new people. Something different -- simple to bring along or place out on a table for play. We enjoy this at pubs (our ages 57, 59 and 27). Game is of nice quality. Came with the tokens that are rounded (which I was hoping for vs. the flat discs.) Glad I purchased and added to my carry tote of games for the pub.

Fun play as long or short as you like game!
We played this with friends, and decided we wanted to purchase it for ourselves to play with friends and family. It's not to hard to learn to play, and can be played as long or short as you like. I like that it is fun to play and pretty fast paced! It comes in a small box and could easily be carried in a backpack, purse, or suitcase if you were wanting to travel with it. Good quality game.

New, fun discovery.
Quick, fun game suitable for wide range of players (3-7). Also very compact if you want to bring it along on a trip.

A fast and easy to follow card game.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm always looking for new games that are relatively inexpensive. This little game is extremely easy to learn and plays really fast, depending on how many are playing. I offered No Thanks at my senior center gaming club and everyone was able to follow the instructions. We chose to play several rounds, or up to a certain target score, since playing through once goes so quickly. We play many card games and this one looked different enough to give it a try. The cards are big and colorful (a big help for those with poor eyesight). The little counters that come with it are sturdy and pleasant to hold in your hand, much more interesting than plain poker chips. This game is so easy to get into that the kids can play with the adults for a family game night. I recommend it for when you're looking to play something less complicated and quick to get started. Try it.

I really liked this game, so I both both versions
This is a really fun game that had everyone at our local Coffee Shop game night saying, let's play another round. It's a fast game, and while it won't stress even the most casual player, yet it did not bore the players that usually love the really complex games. If you are wondering which version to get, I will say that the bigger versions has larger cards that I found hard to shuffle, but the totens were much thicker, with rounded edges and a texture that wasn't slippery. The smaller version has cards that are easier to deal, but the tokens are very thin and not easy to pick up. If I had a complaint about either version it is that they don't give you a fitted box for the cards to keep them from being damaged. In the larger version they do have a fitted slot, but they can easily shift around if the box is tilted at all. The smaller version is made to be compact obviously, but they also can shift around in it, and really both versions would have benefited from a card box. I ended up making one for this smaller version using some very heavy water color paper stock.

Amazing for everyone
I love how simple in nature this game is. And I love that I can play with my in-laws where we have a pit of a language barrier. The rules are so simple, but the strategy and gameplay has enough depth to it to make it a good time every time we play. Also love how easy it is to move around.

SUPER FUN!
We are big on playing boardgames in our family, and we refer to this card game as a “palate cleanser” between games because the rounds are short, everybody enjoys it, and it’s super fun! We've introduced many friends to this game, and not a single person has disliked it. On the contrary, most of them have bought it! The cards and the chips are of really good quality. The thickness of the cards is average (what you would expect it to be). The box is small so it's easy to bring it with us when we visit a friend or travel.

Use this game when you want to game with non-gamers
I bought this game after reading some reviews of the best games to introduce to and play with non-gamers. I love games, but I'm not always with a gaming group. When I get desperate and want to coax people into doing something other than sitting around and watching TV I reach for a simple game. I'm glad I added this one to my collection. The rules for No Thanks are simple and there is no geeky space or fantasy theme to make non-gamers shy away. There is no text to read on the cards, and the game is numbers based so it's easy to explain to people regardless of their native language. There's just enough strategy to make it very competitive if you like, and after a few games people will be coming up with their own strategies to win. It's pretty funny when someone gets stuck without any chips and has to pick up a high numbered card. Games also do not take very long so players who are losing won't need be frustrated for too long. I have also never introduced this to a new group of people that only wanted to play it once --- inevitably someone asked to play another round, and that's the sign of a good game! The components are fine. Just cards and chips. The cards are good quality and I can't imagine feeling a need to sleeve them. The box is simple and small enough to throw in a bag to use on a trip. It's just cards and chips so I could see people storing this in something other than the original packaging. Boardgame Geek says that this game is best with 4-5 players, and I would agree. I normally play this game with groups of four (usually two couples) and it works well! I would recommend this to any gamer who would like to have something around to introduce to non-gamers looking for a casual good time. No Thanks is far more interesting than UNO, and is less complicated than the excellent (and not even that complicated) Sushi Go! Check it out.
