If you are looking to dress professionally for a PSD/EP/Covert Protection job, this color and these pants will go perfect with the docker's style. The classic button-down dress shirt, blazer, and dress shoes allow these pants to work for formal business settings, and they also work well with a t-shirt for day-to-day. They are very flexible, and the pockets stay slim when fitting tools. They fit fairly accurate to description; however, if you plan to use these in a professional setting get them tailored. If you get them tailored, wash and airdry rather than machine dry so they retain their color. The two AR magazine pockets enable 2 AR pistol/SBR mags to be hidden behind a blazer, allowing for a three mag storage if a carbine is stored in a vehicle. As for waist size, the pants are flexible enough to conceal carry a Glock 19 without going up a size, but I would recommend going up a size in case of concealing an extra inside belt instead out outside belt pistol magazines and a TQ. With these pants, they will keep a modern phone fitting sleek, but a wallet prints a bit much so I would consider a sleek wallet if trying to look professional in them. They are worth the price, yet I would recommend waiting to buy several when they are on holiday sales for $68 a pair rather than the $80 price tag they typically go for, and that is because it costs about $15-17 to get a pair tailored to custom fit. They also do not grab when running or exiting a vehicle, so they are good for exercise if necessary, and they are good for quick movements. As for matching colors, a charcoal gray works best as a matching blazer/suit jacket, I would recommend checking out express; if looking for cheaper go to men's Wearhouse and that will do.

Love these! Ok they are expensive but: 1) Fit well 2) Super Durable, my oldest pair at 2 years old are still looking about as good as the day I go them. Only retiring pairs because I've been losing weight lately and shrinking waistlines (not their fault of course) holds my Conceal Carry belt and holster quite well. 3) Loads of pockets! Plenty of cargo room 4) Classy look for jeans 5) Super Comfy! So yeah I'm a big fan now.

It’s really hard to write a review for pants, because everyone has such different opinions on what they wear. For me, I just want jeans that look like jeans, not cargo pants, just jeans. The 5.11s give me some extra pockets that are hidden and fit the bill. The pockets are actually larger than you think, if I don’t have an iPhone Plus I could probably fit my whole phone in it. The jeans are incredibly comfortable, way more than my Ariat Rebars, and hold up just as good. They feel more “stretchy”, which originally worried me and made me think they would fall apart faster, but I was wrong. They’re more flexible and I can work in them a lot better. I’m on my feet working 12+ hours a day 6 days a week, on the job or on the ranch. I’m crawling around, on my knees often, and frequently have to run. These jeans hold up really well and I’m only on my second pair in years and I wear them nearly every day. I highly highly recommend. 👍

Purchased these and a pair of Vertx to compare sizing, fit, materials, etc in the search for a present for my hubby. He has been an energetic musician for many years and the multitude of pockets caught my eye immediately. He has a wireless setup that i hoped would slide comfortably into the rear hip pockets. He also has extra pockets available for edc items that typically annoy him. Out of the two, I found these to be made with a thicker, potentially more durable, but rougher material than the other pair. Also, didn't have the stretchy knee area that my husband was RAVING about on the 2nd pair. Now the sizing... I purchased the 30x30 The waist is a 30 fit but the hip area is a 32. I know bc I (a woman, size 32) tried them on and they fit perfectly, except for the waist. 🤣 Hubby says they have decent flex, but almost immediately changed back into the Defiance. So I guess it comes down to activity level and purpose. These would hold up well for heavy wear chores, i.e. farming, construction, camping, where not so sure about the 2nd pair.

These pants are amazing. I normally don't write many reviews, especially for clothes where opinions are subjective and body-type will drive comfort. However, I had to write a review for these. The material is super comfortable. And, I mean SUPER comfortable. I told my wife after wearing these all day that I think I will sleep in them as they are more comfortable than the gym shorts I normally sleep in. The material is somehow soft but also seems durable. There is a good amount of stretch, which is great for tactical applications. I am a blue belt in BJJ and tested several moves in these that require a high degree of movement, without any binding whatsoever. I feel completely confident I could execute a triangle in these, no issue. That is very surprising for "slim fit" pants. The sizing seems true. I wear a 28-30 wide and the 28 fit perfectly. My only minor complaint is that I like to carry a backup weapon on my ankle, and these don't leave room for that. However, the description does say "slim fit" so I wasn't expecting that to work anyway. I can always carry IWB and even have an extra mag thanks to the hidden pockets.

I just found my new favorite pants. They are not “skinny” jeans but slim as advertised. I saw a few people complaining on here about that. The moment I took these out of the box I loved them. The wash is great. They are double stitched in the places that normally wear out the fastest for me (the crotch). I work a job that requires me to climb up and down things all day and the amount of stretch is perfect. When I ordered these I was a little curious on the two pockets that are in the back. They do fit a 30 round mag perfectly but let’s be honest I’m not going to walk around with my rifle mags with me to work and other places. What I did find though is it fit my Glock 19 perfectly. There’s a slight handle bulge but no more than any other concealed holster or just the old waist band tuck. It’s not made for a gun but it sure is perfect for mine. I tried a knife and a tactical flashlight in the other and it really does keep it hidden. I get comments on them quite a bit. They truly are a good looking pair of pants that is reliable for any sort of excursion you plan on. Going shooting, work, camping and anything else. I’m going to order the indigo next for sure. Fits great, everything is as advertised, the quality shows daily as it avoids the easy small holes of active living, worth every penny.

So, I wear these nearly daily and they're great! I love the extra pockets, the durability, and especially the flex compared to normal stiff jeans. They offer a lot of utility, are super comfy, and pretty durable for work wear, and look nice for casual wear! The one thing I want to warn you about is the fact that they'll wear out after around 6 months to a year and develop holes. I had one blow out around the crotch after it started developing a hole there, one wear a hole in the back pocket, then develop a hole around the crotch area too. My current pair is holding up just fine though. Who knows, maybe it's my dummy thicc thighs.

They are okay but I have some qualms. On one hand, the material feels really strong and high quality. I have high hopes that they will last a while. They are definitely comfortable. On the other hand, the pockets are really tight, making it hard to get my phone in and out. And the actual fit of the jeans doesn't feel like slim fit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting them to be skinny jeans, nor would I want them to be. But in my opinion, "Slim Fit" should be just a little bit looser than skinny. But these feel miles off from skinny. Compared to slim fit pants I've worn from other brands, these are noticably baggy in the thighs and hips. They do taper down towards the lower leg, which I guess is what makes them qualify as Slim Fit :/ Overall, I think they are okay. They aren't quite what I expected, but they are good enough for me to keep. But I don't think I'll buy this brand again.
