About this item TFC, Dry, KNL-NF40 NF (Nano Filtration) membrane 100 GPD, pore size 0.001 micron, BARC licensed & ISO certified 9001:2015, suitable for feed water TDS between 200 ppm to 350 ppm, for better result use 100 GPD pump with working pressure 80 PSI and 450 cc FR. Reduces TDS between 40% to 50%. Please flush membrane with purified water for at least 20 liters and then check result. The water taste varies with minerals contents and therefore user may experience heaviness while drinking with more TDS water. The membrane eliminates all the impurities like fluoride, bromide, arsenic, germs, bacteria, virus, chlorine, cyanide, pesticides, icides etc. from drinking water and flushes them through rejected water. Service life is around 15000 ltrs or 18 months whichever is earlier (subject to use with good quality sediment & activated carbon block carbon), retains minerals in drinking water naturally up to 60%, flux rate around 23 ltrs/hr to 26 ltrs/hr, water wastage is very less compare to RO membrane. Compatible with 100 GPD pump, working pressure 80 PSI & FR 450 CC. Pump pressure and inline filters should be in order else the result may not satisfactory. As per WHO, BIS, EPA and other medical recommendations, the drinking water with minerals between 100 ppm to 300 ppm remain in excellent conditions with pH value pH 7.5 to pH 8. More than pH 8.5 not acceptable as per medical recommendations and ic is too uny causing many problems. TDS adjuster or controller is nothing but a bypass system to flow the water through carbon filter and then mixed with membrane purifier water in a proportion to maintain TDS at desired level. But the bypass system allows impurities like arsenic, bromide, fluoride, cyanide and other impurities if exist in raw water. Therefore always use suitable membrane as per your raw water hardness that will give you more safe, y and mineral enriched water than TDS adjuster technology..

The membrane is suitable for soft water having TDS between 150 ppm to 350 ppm or max 400 ppm. The water born microbes/germs/virus size remains between 0.01 micron to 5 micron those are eliminated with 100% surety and being flushed through rejected water. The membrane also eliminates harmful s, pesticides, icides, toxicity, bromide, fluoride, cyanide, arsenic etc and other impurities from water and flushes them through rejected water but UV & UF cannot. Life of this membrane is around 15000 liters or 18 months whichever is earlier. Medically recommended range of TDS in drinking water is 100 ppm to 300 ppm. Demineralized or low TDS in drinking water causes y problem in long run like slow digestive system, hair fall, obesity, bad cholesterol etc. The NF40 reduces pH very negligible up to 0.6 pH. TDS adjuster allows impurities back into drinking water. Use always right technology of membrane instead of using TDS adjuster/controller. Please note with more TDS water taste will be hard comparatively with RO water or demineralized water, bottle water etc.
