Stanley Replacement Stopper for Vac Bottles | Only Compatible for Pre-2002 Bottles

Works like the original - It had 30 years of daily use on the railroad - it retired when I did... Got my old Thermos down to use it again and the stopper was broke. Started looking for a new one - read a lot more cons than pros decided to give it a try. I will say it works just like the old one - feels pretty much like the old one... The new stopper resurrected my old scared up - dented up coffee jug. Thank so much for helping keep an old friend going... it served up a lot of coffee over the years....

I recieved my stopper today and I must say it will not work on the Alladin Stanley SB 950 H bottle. I have had this bottle for at least 20 years and that must mean it was made before 2000. When I put the stopper in my bottle it feels like the threads are slipping and when i put water in it and turn it on its side it leaks. I would not recomend this stopper to those who have the SB 950 H. I was a little un-comfortable in buying it in the first place because it did not look exactly like my old stopper but the add said it will fit bottles made before 2000 and this is not correct. Hopefully someone reads this before ordering it. I love my Alladin Stanley bottles (I have 2 of them) But this stopper is not a replacemant for all bottles before 2000.

Stopper that arrived had a single black o ring at the top. It leaked like many have said. I had on stopper out of the three thermoses I have. It had a red o ring at the top and bottom. I used my digital calipers and measured the red o rings. The top is a silicone 1-3/16" x 3/32" which is a AS568-123 but you can use the code 1REL4 to order. The bottom is smaller and its a AS568-120 code 1REL1. I got them tonight and I put the small bottom o ring on the new stoppers and no leaks. Haven't changed the black to red to see if it doesn't leak with just it in place. The new stoppers have a grove to place the bottom on but its a bit wider than the original but it works. the silicon is food grade by what I read. Stoppers are alright but one leaked and one didn't. Only down side for me was that I had to buy a bag of 25 for one and 50 for the other. Not expensive but a lot of o rings. got mine at www.zoro.com

Stanley stopper very happy with but have been charged 2 lots of $22.15 within a day of each other. 16th & 17th January. Stanley cup also turned up & very happy with it. Only charged once for it. $28.35 Hoping for a refund of $22.15 Ann Stalker

So amazing that these stoppers are still being made. Congrats to the company for supporting customers this way! Mine fit our old Stanley thermos perfectly, as long as you screw it really tightly. I don’t recommend laying it down, though, until you can be sure it’s keeping the liquid in.
