o2totes oxygo Next Backpack (Black)

I was tentative as I saw some pics online that seemed to show the bag as being WAY too big. But for my Oxygo Next, it fits snug and secure. There are a couple of small pockets in the front as well as room for a water bottle, keys or whatever on the side. This side compartment is secured with a pull tab so things won't fall out. I appreciate the extra ties across chest and waist as they help to distribute weight, but the best part about a backpack is that it is HANDS-FREE! All in all, this pack is just what I needed. This backpack makes using and taking an oxygen concentrator along with you sooo much easier. Even though some are lightweight, they still are cumbersome and difficult to carry with a shoulder bag purse. Just like a school bag, it distributes the weight evenly. Much easier to take along. It has adjustable straps, a few zippers here and there for stashing your stuff and seems very be well made.

I ordered this backpack because the crossbody carry bag that came with my Oxygo next was so uncomfortable to use and limits the use of both your arms for chores. The straps are well padded and fit me well. The bag has ventilation in the correct locations for all the vents on the unit. The changing plug is also in the correct spot so you can leave your unit in the backpack to charge it. There is a cut out on top where the cannula plugs in. One side was kinda off center so I just folded it back and it worked out ok. The strap that is shown below the collar bones above the chest are removable if you don't wasn't to use those. I removed mine as I'm female and it seemed awkward to me. I haven't tried to use them anywhere else on the straps but writing this review gave me the idea to try it under the chest next time I use it. There is also a strap to secure the backpack around your waist that is helpful. It fits standard as well as extended batteries. I doubt if I will use the water bottle holder though as having one in the pouch would block one of the side intake vents. I Recomend this sturdy, comfortable backpack.

The item was as specified and I highly recommend it. Allows me to walk and do chores around the house ie gardening and lawn mowing comfortably. On receipt, I tried to insert the concentrator through the top of the backpack after all that's the way you normally load a backpack. Doesn't work and I was on the verge of sending it back until I discovered you have to insert the concentrator from the bottom. This is something the manufacturer should make purchasers aware of.

This backpack meets all of my needs. I am a 76 year old woman with reduced lung capacity. It was extremely hard to work in the garden and with my plants with the cross body bag I had. This backpack is perfect for outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this item.

I love it. I'm 5'4" and it fits me perfectly. When I first got it I didn't read the information paper and freaked out because my OxyGo Next didn't slide in at the top. After reading the pamphlet I found out you insert it from the bottom. I have an over the shoulder sling and that didn't work for me. I'm still active and need the unit to stay out of my way. Not real happy about having oxygen therapy 24/7, but I'm making the best of it and this back pack really helps.

I really liked the product, however the pack did not fit properly. The shoulder straps cut into the arms and with no chest/should strap adjustments to get them to fit properly if done not fit. The Oxygo Next unit sat in the pack perfectly.

I purchased this backpack for my mother-in-law, who had lung cancer and now COPD. Before getting the portable O2 concentrator, she was limited to the big in house O2 concentrator, or oxygen tanks. The sling bag she originally had put too much weight on one side and she couldn't keep her balance. This allows her to go out and walk through the community, she has used it on a road trip. This backpack has given her the freedom she lost being tethered to the in house O2 concentrator. It has storage for an extra battery, the main compartment can hold the portable O2 concentrator, and either of the 2 size batteries we have for it. And the cannula guilds on the shoulder strap keeps the cannula from hanging loose and catching on stuff. If you own, or someone you know owns a Oxygo Next and still has trouble carrying it, I highly recommend this backpack, it will help center the weight and be much more comfortable.
