findmall 8 Inch Earth Auger Drill Bits

Done many 2' deep holes with this auger on my gas 1 person digger. I usually don't even need to step up the size for a pilot hole of 8" diameter, I've used this from the very beginning, and I have hard clay. Sometimes needs a little wetting, but not always. It's done great. It digs great, and fit my machine easily. Happy to have gotten it over a PTO digger.

We needed this to dig a post hole for our gate we were putting up. This did a great job!

Had to grind down to fit the drill adapter but after that this works well for planting and post holes.

We repurposed 6x6 by 8ft landscape timbers from a retaining wall for fence posts. We used this auger to create almost 60 post holes 3 feet deep, in Georgia clay that was sometimes full of rocks or roots (though we did have to use additional tools to get through some of those situations). Having this auger certainly helped us complete the job. It held up to the job and still has life in it. I can recommend this auger.

Building my new fence. Set expectations beforehand - no yard is going to be nothing but dirt. This worked great to significantly cut down on the amount of manual digging I had to do. However, my yard has a mix of dirt, clay, tree roots, rocks, bricks, and whatever else they threw in as fill. I had to take it slower in some parts, like in the clay, and but I found I could work through most things.. I did have to use a pry bar to work 2 inch or bigger rocks loose. Also, I didnt by the extension bit, so my max depth with my SDS drill has about 33 inches. I had to dig the last few inches with the post hole digger. This worked awesome for what I needed.

Fit right on my vevor 52cc auger. Works great. My 6 and 8 inch bits won't go into hard clay, I use these little ones as a pilot hole. Works amazing

I was digging in clay dirt with rocks and the pin sheared off. I recommend upgrading the pin to something harder than whatever it was made of it looks like aluminum. The bit itself seems fine.

Did not fit my gas auger as described Had to modify to make it work.

Was nervous when purchased but used these to install a fence in very dense dry compacted clay soil. Preformed very well even when using 1.5 hp right angle impact drill. The auger jammed due to rocks but stayed fully intact. Drilled 26 posts down 24” with no issues at all.
