In Developer mode, had to set Bluetooth AVRCP to profile version 1.6 to get play/pause/skip to work again after getting new android 13 phone (moto stylus 5g '23). Works Great! Solves a safety issue for me! Don't have to touch phone while driving! Bought this to avoid having to look AT phone music app (Musicolet -- the greatest offline android music app ever!) while driving. Pausing, and skipping tracks as the main things i was after. And since i just put only music i like in the phone on shuffle, i don't really need to look at the phone. In fact, this is extra nice because i don't even have to take the phone out of my pocket now. Anyway, backlit keys would have been nice, but it's really not that hard to remember where the buttons are. It has a decent finish. It does not look super cheap. It isn't ultra luxury - but not an eyesore in any way. We'll see how it does in summer since it lives on the steering wheel. worth the money. to the person who asked whether it works in the YouTube app, the answer is yes. to the person who asked whether it works in instagram, what it does on my phone is, if I press the play pause button, it mutes the audio of the playing clip, and starts my music player in the background.

I use this as a steering wheel control for my iPod touch in my car. It connected easily to begin with, and reconnected to the iPod pretty quickly at first. The included battery lasted about 4 months, but for a few weeks before the battery was completely dead, it had trouble connecting. I was a little worried after seeing reviews that seemed to indicate the battery wasn't serviceable, but that isn't the case. The back of the remote snaps off easily by prying an indent in the seam, and the remote uses simple CR2032 batteries which are inexpensive and fairly common. You can even find rechargeable 2032 batteries now if you want. The buttons work pretty well, but I've realized I don't like the smooth front surface, since you can't feel any delineations between them, and can sometimes depress the wrong switch underneath by pressing a little bit in between. The use of a button cell battery leaves a bit to be desired over rechargeable, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Works fine with my iPhone 12 pro. Great for volume and skipping songs. Yes, it does shut down after not being used for a bit but press once and it wakes up so I've had no issues with it. A little bulky on the steering wheel so I fold it inward when driving. Overall just what I needed. Not sure yet about battery life - will update if this is an issue - so far, so good.

Paired quickly, worked exactly as advertised. It does disconnect (go to sleep) after about 10-15 seconds, so routine is (if it's been more than 10-15 seconds) just push any button, wait 2 seconds, and then it's ready to go again. Kind of annoying, but not a deal breaker and way better than looking down and trying to use your phone while riding a motorcycle (don't do that). However, after about 2 weeks of use it just stopped working (no light at all). Replaced the battery to no effect, so it appears to be dead after a pretty short time. Disappointing, as it was tiny, easy to use, and worked pretty well for the money.

I've used this for 2 completely different purposes...I will review both. First I used it hooked up to an iPad to cue up a song while I was talking on a mic for a DJ gig. It worked just as I needed it to. I was out on the floor with the mic talking and when I was ready and finished what I was saying, I was able to play the song I had already cued up and ready to go. Worked perfectly The other way I am using this is on my motorcycle. My moto doesn't have built-in Bluetooth to it's sound system. It has a kit that you can buy to hard wire into the radio a BT device that I then pair to the phone to play music. However I can not control the music (skipping to next song) without having to use the phone. Which going down the road on a moto trying to use the phone is not a good idea. I bought this device to see if I can have it hooked to the phone while the phone is hooked to the device that is attached to the bike. IT WORKED!!! so no once I get a song streaming, if the next one I don't like, I can simply hit the next button on this device which mounted perfectly to the handlebar. So far this little device has changed the game for me in 2 different ways....highly recommend

This product worked great at first. However, after about a month of use the buttons have become unresponsive and intermittently work. Not sure if the battery is dying or I'm getting a bad Bluetooth connection. I seem to think that is most likely a battery issue. At this point I would not recommend this product and will be looking for something else.

I bought this item as a gift, and the person I gave it to, who is a young man, loved it.

This was the perfect solution for me. I work in an office in a manufacturing plant. I have ADD and all the noise and people coming in and out of the office is constantly distracting me. I started wearing one earbud and listening to music and podcasts which was a huge help. When someone would come to my cubicle to ask me a question - I hated reaching for my phone to pause my music - (I never mastered the earbud controls correctly!) I slipped this little remote into the plastic pocket on my badge and could easily pause or adjust the volume. It started having a delay connecting to the phone, and the battery would drain fast. I replaced the battery and it would die within a week or so, then suddenly didn't work at all. I bought a new one of a different brand - and I have not had any of the delays or connection issues I had experienced with this one. This leads me to believe that it was the remote itself. There are plenty of other choices out there and by the reviews - ones that have great customer support. My recommendation is to consider a different brand!!

So far so good. Connected to my Samsung Galaxy phone no problems. Using it in car mounted on steering wheel spoke with out any issues as it it a small diameter. Did have any issues waking unit up from sleep mode ... Works as advertised.

Seems to be a good little gadget. Clips nicely on the handlebars of my motorcycle and stays put. Works as it says. Hopefully it holds up to weather as it's quite convenient while riding. HOWEVER, the buttons can be a bit of a nightmare if you're wearing gloves. Volume down? Nope, pause... Curse these gloved sausage-fingers! Would still buy again.

What I actually needed was a remote that let's me flip the pages in an ebook type app. Not all page turners work in all ebook apps. The app allows page turning using volume buttons. I have another TikTok ring that allows volume control but it's by long pressing the buttons which was too much delay/effort when reading. The next next thing was finding a remote that is reasonably priced and has volume control buttons. Found a lot of media remotes but they are all more expensive than this one. This one works exactly as expected after Bluetooth pairing. Everything successful on the first shot so I'm very happy with this purchase. Just a reminder though that this device runs on cr2025 battery. Not the rechargeable type. I don't mind but just in case it matters for others.

**Newest Review The quality has dropped substantially its already failed after a few weeks. Won't turn on. The worst "development" is that they have made it a sealed unit, you cannot replace the battery!! Greedy manufacturers. I'll be looking for any other brand this one has gone downhill fast. **2nd Review This is my second time ordering this. The first one worked great but I lost it. I've used this one for only a few months and now it'll flash blue but not connect to my Samsung S23. Now have to purchase something else that'll work :(
