Side by Side
I got a roll of both 'brown' and 'brown wood' to decide which color I liked best, here's a view of them side by side. I'll note the differences between the two color options. BROWN WOOD - B087N5Z94T In the picture the 'brown wood' is the top color which is labeled A in the first picture. This color option pulled cool tones. I applied this contact paper by myself and it was very easy to apply for this test and I had no issues whatsoever. The surface of this vinyl was smooth to the touch. BROWN - B08B5485Y2 The vinyl called just 'brown' is the bottom color in the picture. This color option pulled warm tones. The surface of this contact paper was textured to the touch and not smooth unlike the other color. This was nice but I also think it made it a little more difficult to lay down smoothly. It kept wrinkling a little the first time I tried applying it by myself. I had my partner come help me and applying it went much more smoothly. OVERALL I used to professionally wrap walls and cars with vinyl and these both seem like they are good quality vinyl. They are not very shiny which is good and the vinyl itself has a medium weight/thickness which I think works really well for wrapping counters or other furniture types as the vinyl seems sturdy enough for the job but not so thick that it is difficult to work with. I think visually that both options are beautiful and the print quality is very good! I will probably personally go with the 'brown wood' color because I like the way the cool tone works with the tile I plan on using for my flooring and my kitchen paint. I am going to sit on it a few days to make my decision and then once I have completed the project I will update with how application went overall and add pictures. I hope seeing this side by side helps others!

Cozy, Realistic, and Budget-Friendly Upgrade!
I used this wood-look adhesive film to transform the top of our fireplace mantle, and I’m beyond impressed with the results! The texture and color are incredibly realistic — it blends beautifully with our fall décor and gives that natural wood look without the cost or mess. Installation was simple: I cut it to size, smoothed it out with a plastic card, and it adhered perfectly with no bubbles. The adhesive is strong but forgiving if you need to reposition. Easy to clean, doesn’t peel at the edges, and adds such warmth to the room. Great for seasonal styling or permanent updates. Highly recommend if you're into cozy, budget-friendly home makeovers!

Great product, could use more stick
The color is amazing and it looks like wood when it's applied..it's a realistic, cool brown color which compliments my decor really well. The paper is very thick and feels sturdy...and expensive. It's a bit tricky to apply and it takes practice but once you do it a few times you get the hang of it. I had to cover a coffee table and I had to use two separate pieces and you can't even tell where it meets in the middle, which is awesome. My only complaint is the adhesion. It sticks great on the top, no issues, it's the sides where it doesn't stick so great and slightly bubbles up..it's not a deal breaker but I do have to push it down every few days. Other than than that it's really a great product.

Best purchase ever!
Best purchase ever. Don’t overthink this - just stick it on and smooth it out and move on to your next project. I used just ONE piece and tucked in the corners like you would wrap a christmas present and was done in a few minutes! It looks great and although I only plan to have this as a temporary solution- I think I’ll keep it long term after seeing and using it. I’m having a surgery in a couple of days so I needed a quick solution and this was it. The prep- I didn’t prep or sand my furniture item, I didn’t measure anything, I didn’t cut individual pieces for each flat surface, and I didn’t use any extra tools for air bubbles- I just smoothed it all out by hand, peeling and re-placing when I messed up. I used just ONE rectangle piece of this sticker paper to cover the entire thing and it was so easy! The adhesion- This really kept its stickyness despite me peeling it back and making adjustments after placing it down. I didn’t heat it up with a hairdryer like some people wrote in their reviews but that might have helped for the final edge that I stuck down. It was easy to place and re-place when I needed to adjust parts I didn’t place well. The back edge (which was the last part I stuck down and also a strange particle board texture) wasn’t sticking entirely and since it’s not visible I just used a piece of double sided tape to adhere it and that did the trick. The color- The pattern is very forgivable and you can’t notice the cuts I made to wrap my rounded corners unless you’re a few inches away and REALLY looking. There’s no shine to the material so it looks like wood and not a sticker. Quality- it’s durable for a sticker top- I aggressively ran my nails over it for a scratch test and it doesn’t even look like I’ve touched it. I honestly made the least amount of effort possible when placing this and it came out incredible.

Outstanding
Ease of use: Easy to work with. It was my first time to wallpaper and I knew this would be a challenge because I am picky about details and I wanted to go edge to to edge without overlap or gaps. It went on perfect. I can slide anything across the desk and there's no bumps. Appearance: It took me a really long time to find a good rustic look that fit the theme/feel/style of the creative and office space I'm setting up. I absolutely hate to see patterns in organic designs, or when people use the rubber-stamp tool in photoshop (former 3D guy here who specializes in procedural textures so it's a pet peeve, plus that's annoying ugly) the pattern repeats about 5 feet. This is long enough to flip and slide to prevent a tiled look. If you shipped well papers or laminates you can see the obvious tiles on the walls. It looks cheesy. Plus, watch out because those are not photos, those are texture mapped and/or photoshopped in and they do not have an accurate scale they try to make it bigger or block the repeated patterns. To be sure, look at the user photos and video and there's the truth. There is a woodgrain pattern pressed into the vinyl. When the sun hits the desk the shine subtly adds to the believability factor. They did a great job with printing. It's not just 3 colors it's well blended photo like. Hours of searching for a workshop type of rustic wood look, that didn't have unique "that's the same blue board", or a pattern that tiles every 17 inches, was quite a challenge. Next time I need a faux wood to test something before commiting to real wood, I'll look up this brand and order again. Tips: to separate the vinyl from the backing, stick tape on the paper backing half on the paper and half off, at the corner and at 45 degrees do the paper corner is pointing along the tape's length. Pull the excess tab of tap back and it peels right off. It peals easy and it has great stick to my desktop. Your surface may very. I found it if it started to drift away from the previous piece that was laid down in and start to form a gap, the best practice seem to be not pulling it towards the other one but rather working the air bubbles out from the far side of the seam towards the seam. You definitely don't want to pull and stretch this stuff because eventually down the road it will want to pull itself back into shape and it will develop wrinkles or bubbles where it was stretched. To trim the excess vinyl off the desk edges, use an Exacto knife with a brand new blade. Run the blad along the edge withe the grain so it doesn't dig in. Have the broadside of the blade evenly on the edge of the desk. Tilt the handles so that it's leaning over the desk. As you pull the blade along the edge slowly raise and lower the blade like a slow motion sawing motion otherwise it will wear out one spot in the blade and eventually snag. My desk has camperd corners so I had My knife had an extreme angle so that it wouldn't get a lip of vinyl to snag and eventually peel. I've seen some videos where people ran their fingers along the edge of their furniture that they applied a vinyl and complain because they could snag and peel it back... That's their own fault for not trimming it properly. That's not a fault of the vinyl laminate or wallpaper. My desk is 9 ft long, so to have perfect edge to edge (I'm referring to the edge of the roll of vinyl, not the desk surface) without any overlap or gap, was more challenging than a shorter span desk, because if you're off a little bit early it will be off a lot by the time I got to the other end. But it worked out quite well with this. Results: My desk is a real wood desk (IKEA Galant from 2005) and I was going to build my own rustic authentic wood surface to replace it, but this test turned out so well I'll keep it on for a couple year and focus on other home projects! I like it! A LOT! I hope this helps everybody, as you can see it's a quality laminate. I would like to see this company make more colors and textures as options. Not just colorizing the existing texture, but to come up with different types of saw marks or knots, different wood types etc.

It's ok
Looks very realistic, but doesn't stick well I had to apply glue for extra hold.

Turned out better than expected!
I was hoping for a little more variation in color but this is a great neutral wood color without going too ashy or too warm. It is smooth, no texture. It laid flat easily and lifted easily when I needed to reposition it. It cut easily and was a nice thickness. I’m not sure how well it will hold up over time, but this was more of a temporary solution for me anyway. If It’ll last me a year or two, I’ll be thrilled. It definitely turned out better than expected. FYI- I added the brass accents on the edges. It doesn’t come with the paper.

Pleasantly Surprised…
I had very cynical expectations for the quality of this product, specifically because it was so affordable for a decent sized roll of this peel and stick pattern. However, after using it, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use and how durable the material seemed. It wasn’t super thin material, it was easy to work out the bubbles in the adhesive, and it had a nice color wood tone pattern that appeared tasteful and not tacky looking. I’ll see how it holds up with water and maintaining its adhesion after everyday use, and that will be the real challenge with maintaining this look for an extended period of time. Also, PREPPING YOUR SURFACE WELL is a monumental first step in this process if you want to have any success with applying this product. If the surface is at all dirty, even if it doesn’t appear to have any visible dirt, clean it down anyways, and wipe it on the top and along the edges and underneath the edge on the bottom of the surface. This way the pattern can adhere well to all sides when you have to fold the paper over when covering up corners of an item’s surface.

Its good but I expected better
Thin will be damaged easily and melted fast

Nice product
It’s hard to judge the colour based on photos but this was the closest to what I was searching for. It arrived quickly and I was a bit concerned when I saw the product as it looked a little cheap, however, once I applied it to my project, it looked so much better. It was easy to apply and it’s been up for a week with no issues. Very pleased as it’s exactly what I had envisioned.
