I recently purchased the Daiwa J-Fluoro Fluorocarbon Leader in the 40 Pound, 50 Yards, Multi, One Size option, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. I highly recommend using a good fluorocarbon as a leader it has the highest abrasion resistance I usually go with a braided backer I have landed shark on 25 lb test fluorocarbon leader fishing off the rocks this is a solid investment a little difficult to tie knots but if you're patient this will work great if you keep the diameter close you don't necessarily need a barrel swivel you can use a blood knot and it won't go anywhere however if you do opt for a barrel swivel you can use the palomer knot it's a little tricky but once you cinch it down it's not going anywhere a must-have if you use lures or a fish finder rig and you want a leader that disappears in the water it can be the difference from catching fish and getting skunked

Great leader material for the price

LOVE this leader line in 12lb. And the elastic band with a hole in is for functionality is what every single fishing line manufacturers need to be using. Great knots, stiffness is 12lb, hardly any stretch to it, daiwas line is not super thick has good memory and leadership for the innovative elastic band.

Great abrasion resistance. Excellent durable leader the provides top quality lure presentation while being almost clear underwater. Has held up bottom fishing and getting fish out of tight spots in the reef without breaking or slipping knots.

Great value. I never have had a problem with it.
