Not stealthy, Image quality is very good.
Easy to install. Rear Bumper on a 2014 Jeep JKU. Instructions were simple. I didn’t realize at the time, though small, it isn’t very stealthy. It’s noticeable. Though I’m not expecting 4K UHD video, the Image quality was more than I expected from Kenwood. I have it hooked up to a Kenwood DMX-706s. Originally I rated this with a 4 star, but have since had time to study it. It’s an awesome little camera. The clarity at night is awesome! While reversing at night it’s super clear and lit up. My only slight concern is the bracket is a little flimsy for off road. But it’s a simple design that if you’re a little crafty you could easily beef it up or fabricate a stronger one.

Sharp night time image.
This camera is excellent. It seems to be about the same size as an OEM mounted camera. I only have a camera on a 14 outback to compare it too. Both work well in daylight but this kenwood seems much better in the dark. The display is sharp and clear. I have ran it through the car wash 3 times already and it has survived driving through 1 snow storm. My installer even commented on the quality of the camera. He was impressed.

Fully satisfied 2014 F250
I have a Kenwood head unit and tried the cheap import backup camera integrated with the tailgate handle. After finding three different issues with it including it doesn't work below 30 farenheit I decided to spend a little more. I couldn't find a integrated unit I had confidence in so I mounted as shown with a bracket I made. The picture as good or better than any factory system I've seen day or night. And I can even see my hitch for when I tow a trailer I have never towed before.

Great camera
Camera was a little time consuming to install but that was expected. Great picture, only down side is it is not water proof apparently. We will see if it holds up. Other then that worth the purchase. Mine does not have grid lines. However this may lie in the radio you are using if it has them or not.

Reliable and weatherproof
I went thru three metra ibeam cameras that kept breaking. This one was easy to install and has worked perfectly for months now. No backup lines or grid, but it’s good quality. The packaging and manual was in Japanese.

Backup camera
Appears to be a good camera. I went to Local shop and they were going to charge me $90.00 more just for the same camera. I bought camera on Amazon and the local shop installed for me.

Ridiculous proprietary connection
I wanted to see if this camera lived up to the good reviews. I already had a backup cam installed, but it stopped functioning, so I figured this would be a perfect replacement. I was wrong. The camera itself doesn't use a typical RCA plug, which would have made the swap easy. It uses an RCA plug...about 3' from the head unit, which connects to a proprietary square 5 pin male connection, which runs for 20' back to the camera, which sports the female end of said connector. So in order to install the camera, I would have to open my dash, extract my head unit, and run the Kenwood cable, instead of just doing a quick camera swap. Returned the camera.
