We had an older Oral B toothbrush that our family of 3 used for nearly 7 years. It was on its way out and given how long it lasted no other brand made sense. This is better than what we had previously. The same great build quality but it also offers 3 speed settings for a gentler clean if that’s what you’re after. It comes with a travel carry case (a nice addition although we never took our older one away, just used manual ones on holiday). Has a holder for 2 brush heads which you can leave on a basin etc for easy swapping. Note it only comes with 1 brush head so buy a pack of 4 - we got this as a bundle deal. It seemed to charge quickly although I think it’s supplied partially charged. Our old one lasted 1 week between charges, supposedly this model does 2 weeks. Haven’t reached that point yet but would be even more impressed if that transpired to be true. We bought it when it was on a hefty Amazon discount. I don’t think it’s worth the full RRP but if you can get a discount and the price makes sense for you then this is certainly a good product to have. Perhaps the most important thing is how well does it clean your teeth? Very well indeed. You can run your tongue over your teeth after and they will be super smooth where it’s got rid of all the plaque and build up.

Very cheap, nice brushes

The Oral-B iO Ultimate Clean Toothbrush Head has a clever design with twisted and angled bristles that seem to reach between teeth better than standard heads. It feels effective for removing plaque and gives a thorough clean. However, the price is quite high for replacement heads, and it wears down faster than I expected with daily use. While the cleaning performance is good, it may not justify the frequent cost compared with other compatible heads. Overall, it’s effective but pricey, suitable for those who want the best clean, but not necessary for everyone.

This particular set are really good value, compared to others I’ve seen. I was a bit sceptical as to just how much better IO range was compared to normal Braun, but I’m a real convert. Brushes are excellent, they clean my teeth better than any other brush I’ve used. Long lasting (recommend changing every three months).

The right head for my toothbrush

I have to say, the performance of these Oral-B iO Ultimate Clean toothbrush heads is genuinely amazing. You can feel the difference immediately compared to other electric toothbrushes or older head designs. The way the twisted and angled bristles work feels incredibly effective, and my teeth have never felt cleaner after brushing at home. It gives you that "just left the hygienist" feeling, and you can tell it's doing a great job at plaque removal. The quality is undeniable, and they fit the iO brush perfectly, as you'd expect from the genuine brand. However, I've had to drop one star simply because of the price. They are astonishingly expensive for what they are—just replacement heads. While the clean is fantastic, the ongoing cost of replacing these every few months is a significant drawback and makes this a very premium product to maintain. Overall, they are 5-star in performance but 3-star in value. I've settled on 4 stars as a compromise. They're the best clean I've had, but I really wish they were more affordable.

Offrono una pulizia profonda e delicata, durano a lungo e rendono lo spazzolino iO ancora più efficace. Le ricomprerò sicuramente.
