Fine tuned for your foot, the multi-purpose women’s Tirra brings crazy comfort to the adventure of your choosing. The Tirra from Teva is the perfect sandal for outdoor adventures. It features a quick-dry upper with a foam and stretch mesh lining for comfort. A spongy footbed cushions every step and absorbs shock, and a patterned rubber outsole offers traction and durability. Plus three hook-and-loop straps allow for a perfect fit. Review: Very comfy sandals if they fit; love the color and style - This is my second pair of Teva sandals, bought because I like the Teva Hurricane XLT2 sandals so much. Both are very comfortable and have good support for sandals. Both can get wet with no harm and are good for walking or light hiking. One difference which might matter in fit for some is that the strap around the back of the heel is not adjustable on the Tirra sandal, but it is adjustable on the Hurricane XLT2. Some reviews mention a problem with this. All the other straps are adjustable on both. I do have to make sure I'm not fastening the ankle strap too tightly on the Tirra. My Tirra sandals are in the color Bering Sea, which is becoming hard to find, so this review is for those. (I don't know if the Tirras in the newer colors might be a little different or not.) Bering Sea in lower light is a deep blue with some gray tone, not as dark as navy, with perhaps just a tiny tiny touch of teal or ocean but not much. The color name seems appropriate and I love the color. In bright sunlight it looks more like a medium-to-deep grayish-blue. The trim appears to be black. The product photos for Bering Sea on desertcart don't show the deep blue tones enough on my screen. Also, the fit is a little different, as some other reviews have mentioned. The Tirra seems to run slightly smaller and maybe slightly less true to size than the Hurricane XLT2. I usually wear women's size 8 medium, occasionally 7.5, and I bought both Tevas in size 8. Both fit well enough, but the Tirra's foodbed is not as generous in size as the Hurricane. (See photos of how both fit on me, for comparison. The Hurricane is the color Sunset Simply Taupe. The photo of the soles shows the Hurricane footbed on the left and the Tirra on the right.) I like the width of the Tirra footbed better (for my bony feet) but not the length, which fits a little shorter, more like a 7.5 than an 8 on my feet, maybe because of my long big toes. If in doubt, I'd suggest maybe (??) ordering up a half-size in the Tirra if you have wider feet or extra long toes. Both work for me in my usual size, although the Tirra is shorter on my right foot than I'd prefer. My toe is almost at the top edge which I don't like, but it doesn't overhang. I bought the ones both sold by and shipped by desertcart, not sold by a third party, because a return would be a little easier if needed. I'm also a little wary of knock-offs and receiving a previously returned product. These arrived in a Teva box, but didn't have cardboard inserts in the sandals as my Hurricanes did nor any tags on them. But they didn't appear to have been worn so maybe Teva doesn't put inserts into all of them. ?? Both are 5 stars but there are a couple of differences (back heel strap, footbed shape and size) from some other Teva sandals which may or may not matter for you. Review: Teva Tirra Sport Sandals Bering Sea/Neutral Multi - Tirra Sport is a Great Sandal! It fits true to size, with a comfortable fit. The color Bering Sea is not Navy Blue! It appears a lot darker in all the images posted online. It is a medium blue with a Grayish tone. I also bought the Neutral Multi color which is also a lot lighter than the photos online. I love both of these pairs of sandals and they are both a great color. These are very comfortable but not as soft as the New 2026 version of the Tirra Sport. These have longer Velcro straps and no extra pad on the heel. The toe area is also a different shape. The footbed isn’t as soft as the 2026 version. Very comfortable good looking sandal just not the same as the 2026 version. I have both versions and both are great sandals. Don’t hesitate to try these.

The leather version is best for all day comfort.
I love this rugged natural tone leather sandal. The velcro straps are firm and offer many adjustments to fit to your foot. It is comfy all day long even on days I have to walk on hard cement floors to shop in big super stores. Pricey but worth the extra bucks for a lightweight durable well fitting sandal. Excellent quality and I would buy again.

Best Water Sandal
Teva brand has been my favorite for water sandals since the '90's and this style is the best out of all the different brands/styles that I tried over the years. I use them for hiking and fishing and they hold up well under conditions like trekking over slippery rocks, or balancing on uneven surfaces while throwing lures. They grip enough to catch you from slipping but not so much that it takes some strength and finesse to un-suction your shoe from a rock, so you don't go flying because you lost your balance while trying to un-suction your water sandal from a rock (yes, that happened with a different sandal). I'm standing for long periods of time and this shoe offers outstanding support, all day long. No more tired, aching feet at the end of the day. As water sandals go, this one is made well (not as well as back in the 90's, like everything else) and they are cute, as water sandals go. My first pair was celery green and lasted 10 years until the vacuum cleaner ate one. I've worn 7 through 8 in Teva's and even though the 7 was a bit small, and the 8 a tad big, I can still wear 7, 7.5, and 8 comfortably. My only complaint is that there is not enough Velcro in the upper straps so I can't tighten them as much as I need to. My last pair, that I did not buy on Amazon, was the same. Not sure what the problem is but to remedy it, I added more Velcro. It works but doesn't last so, you have to keep changing it. But it's important to be able to tighten your sandal enough so it stays on your foot, right? I would have returned mine but had worn them once before realizing I had a problem. The four stars I gave this product would easily have been five stars, if there was just more Velcro.

Don't mess with my Tevas!
I am always hesitant about buying shoes online because I have feet like a hobbit but I researched different brands and settled on this one. And I am very surprised by how much I like them. They don't have a huge arch support but enough of support where I'm not crippled on the ground after hiking 6 hours. They also dry pretty quickly, didn't cause me any sores, and good traction as I was trying to evade Elves while climbing rocks near a waterfall. They are super comfortable and that's saying a lot, coming from a mutant born with 6 toes. They fit is great with my wide feet so the fit is true to size and you can adjust the different straps to fit your feet. The color is also pretty.

THEY FIT.
I have no idea why this year has been just so difficult to find the shoes that I want. Mmmmk, so, YAAAAYYY! These fit and are comfortable. They are the basic, everyday shoe. In my very humble opinion, these adjustable (in every way that matters) summer shoes fit like Tevas are supposed to fit. As expected, they’re made well, and I anticipate being able to wear them for several seasons. Plus, there’s no flip flop sound to act as a “shoe, GPS, human tracker.” The colors match up well to what was shown on my screen. What I don’t think of them as, is that absolutely required, comfy, easy to dress up OR an elevated casual shoe. Teva shoes are great at being what they are. They are great for the yard, park, lake, hikes, beach, grocery store, pedicure shoe… that you never feel like you’re going to trip over or accidentally fall out of. They are one of those summer basics… which is precisely the reason why so many of us own at least one pair of Tevas.

Overall good, but requires socks for comfort
This wasn't an awful purchase. I like the color, the fit. They are comfortable on my feet and provide good support for my arch while fitting my wide feet well. My size is normally 8.5 wide so I selected 8.5 and the sizing seems appropriate. It is perhaps a tiny bit too long and I may have sized down if I had the opportunity to try on multiple sizes at once, but for shoes bought over the internet, sight unseen, I can't really complain about the size. The straps enable a nice, snug fit around my wide feet though I can see how it may be a bit too loose for people with narrow feet. I have one problem: the ankle strap causes blisters on the back of my ankle when worn without socks. I got these specifically for a supportive shoe that I could wear in summer without the need for socks, but I can't really use them beyond short trips (around 30 minutes of walking). I was hoping that they would break in over time, but so far they have not. This was not a problem with my last pair of similar sandals from another brand, which were comfortable for sockless wear right from the get-go. While there are a few differences at play that might explain why my older shoes were more comfortable (including a softer, more fabric-like material and a lower ankle strap which wraps around the heel more then the ankle) I think this issue is more to do with the construction of the shoe. My old ones actually had an ankle strap that was separate from the rest and attached with a piece of elastic. I think this construction enables the strap to move *with* my foot instead of against it as I walk. In contrast, this shoe is made all in one piece which results in an inflexible back strap which wears against the ankle. Some may feel that this provides more support, but I personally don't notice any difference and the blisters are enough to outweigh any potential benefit in that area. It is now past my return window, so I guess I'm just going to deal. I'll wear them for short trips out of my apartment, but for anything longer then that I'm going to need to figure out something to protect my ankle, either socks, bandaids or something else. In any case, I think I will steer clear of this brand (or at least, this model) in the future unless there is a design change. At least I think I've learned something to bare in mind when buying sandals again.

Everyday, adventure and relax mode sandals
These are amazingly durable and comfortable sandals. Have had them for a year and I have used them on long walks, beaches, hikes, water rappelling and canyoning, and never had any problems. Very sturdy and i dont remember getting shoe bites. Will be buying another pair if they come on sale :)

Great price, excellent sandals
Excellent sandals at an excellent price - they were about 40% cheaper than any bricks and mortar store that stocks them near me. I was a bit worried about sizing based on other reviews so found a store that stocked the whole sizes. I am usually a 7-7.5 and I found the 7 slightly small so ordered a 7.5. They fit perfectly. I love the fact you can adjust all of the straps to fit as I have a high arch and sometimes that causes issues with fit. I also read some people had issues with rubbing and blisters so tested them out using my treadmill. They are as comfy as my trainers and I had no issues at all doing a half hour walk at 5.5km/hr. I did this daily, for a week before my holidays, to be on the safe side and continued to have no issues. These will be my go-to for any long walks.

Comfortable, great for water adventures like canoeing and kayaking.
I love Teva sandals. My first pair lasted a decade. Bought two pair so I can keep one pair for city use and the other for adventure.
